Yo RJay, stuff a 1/4" socket extension into the bolt hole in the hub once you've got the spacer on and then just slip the wheel on, sliding the extension through the bolt hole in the wheel. Euro hack right there

Audi's come with a stud you can thread in a hole to hang the wheel on. Its in the tool kit in the trunk... I did a full stud conversion on my a4 though.

Honestly if RJ went stage 2 on the Beetle he would hurt a lot of feelings! It would do about 270hp with 300tq with a conservative stage 2 but a custom tune would be about 320hp.. I would have put coilovers and sway bars on it over bags. I habe a 8p A3 sport back dsg fwd and I love it! Brian's MK2 is fantastic too!

There is a tool called a "Tommy Bar" that every lug bolts car owner needs. Just thread it in and hang the wheel. ECS has some great ones.

I had the same problem in my Kouki my hydro is in the same place I pulled the seat cover back we’re it was hitting and trimmed the Kevlar around the hydro and put the cover back over can’t tell it’s been done but fits spot on

RJay look in the trunk if the oem toolkit is still there. If so you have a plastic stud that you thread in and put on the wheel. If you are at a junkyard you might find it in a Golf or Passat from 2000 or so and newer. Maybe even you can by it for not a lot new as well. The Beetle is looking great! The Coupe is looking awesome Jimmy! And your friends red looks amazing as well! Brian needs to paint the BMW or the Golf mkII so he can ride with all of the nice cars with freshly paint on them LOL. Or at least do a polishing on the BMW!

Tip to get the wheel on and spacer lined up: Put one lug bolt through the wheel and start threading it into the hub while holding the wheel right off of the spacer so you don't hit it. Once you get the first bolt threaded in, throw in the second bolt, and you got it from there.

It’s a lot easier to line the spacer up with the holes if you just put a stud or two through the wheel an put the spacer resting on the wheel then line up the bolts wit da holes

They sell wheel hangers for german cars. It threads into the lug stud hole and you just slide your spacers and wheels over it then you can start threading on lug studs and remove the hanger
