Pretty unrelated to the video, but it still bothers me that I’ve lived in Louisiana my entire life yet never realized that Willow Creek was supposed to be based off of Louisiana/New Orleans until someone specifically pointed it out. Granted, I never thought that Louisiana had a very specific style of house beyond Shotgun Houses and of course Willow Creek doesn’t have any swamps or bayous or anything like that. Besides that, though, it just does NOT look like anywhere I’ve seen in Louisiana at all. Being reminded that “Crawdad Corner” is something that exists in game made me visibly cringe.
