I don't think Stanley should be in the game. He's almost like Kayla's emotional support sim. We can play with him from the gallery, and Kayla is already immortalized in the game with the cowplant's default name. She's mentioned that he's her favorite sim ever and is attached to him.

Hard mode though, no gym bathrooms or quick meals. 🤔 (there's also a severe lack of weenie suits for infants and toddlers). Oh, he could be snuck in as a painting or on a crosstitch...now you have me thinking of so many Stanley possibilities without actually putting him in the game. 😅

A stranger who he randomly happens to meet on the street? He had a little sister in the aliens kidnapped my parents scenario, she could return. So, so many ideas

She knows, she's done both numerous times and used the wishing well. She's not a fan of playing as a spellcaster and this was just a short, fun and chaotic video. It would have taken too long for the Book of Life, binding it, killing a sim then reading it. Since this Stanley had max cooking it made sense.

@@barkergirl33 I understand that about the Stanley thing; however my point was that that in 99% of the times when she does a thing where you have to revive the same she only ever uses the ambrosia but like it's just as hard to do as the book and as hard, if not harder than the spellcaster one as you can learn it even as a ghost

your strategy is great and i like it but heres how i would do it if you bought a computer you could have earned money from a side hustle as well as revive a dead sim using the book of life. then while levelling up writing become a spellcaster, learn how to get rid of the night wraith and done it then woohoo the two sims in your household near the end by breaking into their home, romancing them and woohooing them in your home with the on ley line trait, the rest you could do while trying to get those i.e. get the scientist career and make the portal to sixam (sorry if I sound condescending I just wanted to share my thoughts)

She knows all of that, but full careers, skills and completed aspirations take time. She was just seeing how much she could do for a video for fun. You can't speed run the writing, handiness, cooking and gourmet cooking, bestselling author aspirations, scientist career (or maxed rocket science plus building time for the rocket)... I didn't take this video to be a serious attempt, just some fun chaos.

honestly getting the 5k to buy a rocketship would've been faster than leveling the scientist career. she'd also lose time to the career that she could use for the rest of the checklist. the book of life would've taken quite a while as well when as a spellcaster you can just dedeathdefy a ghost sim (though from the sound of it she seems to prefer the ambrosia route, and considering they had "revive a sim" as part of the base game bit of the list it makes sense). the only bit i really disagreed with was using painting as a side hustle; side hustles in this game have always confused me and im not sure merely selling things you make even counts.

@Silverfur01 Buying the rocket is just the beginning, it is expensive and time consuming for the upgrades. The wormhole generator is required to get to Sixam. I agree it's still faster than the scientist career. Learning dedeathdefy can take time. Sometimes you get lucky and learn it early on, but you never know. I would like the Sims to give a better definition of the side hustle because as you said painting doesn't seem to be one.

Im going back on my old points and agreeing with some others, the book of life and dedeathdefy are both time consuming, but side hustles are things that can get you money other than careers and writing, painting, programming, fishing, woodworking and gardening are what I would call 'side hustles' as they can all give you money aside from careers.

@UltraMagmazing That makes sense, especially if it is base game only. I have the streaming from high school years in my head because it is called a side hustle on the job's daily tasks. I think overall this is a fun list of things to do but over time. I would enjoy bringing a sim back to life using all of the possible ways. It's an interesting, long term challenge that can be worked on when you aren't in the mood to do something else. Definitely not made for speedrunning.

You need to be on the lot to see Patchy. He comes to life during the day. (The night wraith thing, you were close. You get it from overloading your Sim but NOT killing them.)

I actually love playing with spellcasters. The spellcaster world is SO useful. My sim died once and I could just buy all the stuff required for ambrosia from the spellcaster markets. In my opinion spellcasters are the most useful occult. They're always my go-to when I dont want to play a regular sim. Like I use them so much I have to force myself to play as something other than a spellcaster.

You could have used the HCH selling table to make Ambrosia that way you can bring someone back to life--and earn a thousand dollars on a side hustle. Apples can be used to make the Plentiful needs potion, that way you can keep your sims needs up. And where can I get my own copy of the list that way I can try this challenge. I don't think this is a failure, you have almost done it, it is certainly better than I would have done. Don't worry about it!! And Congrats on getting married!!

You'd need to have a micro home to speed the skill tree + more than 1 sim in the household so you can multitask. And definitely pause so time isn't wasted. But think it's doable. @@taelikestea

I've done many of these things between my 2 legacies, but not all. Cute of them to make the checklist. I hate the drowning in the pool thing - always have. I know its classic Sims but it just feels so intentionally and needlessly mean 😥. Don didn't even count, he wasn't an enemy, they still had a full pink and half green bar. My G2 heir drowned in the ocean by accident, I had no idea THAT was even possible! Also, you could have used Sterling to bring someone back from the dead, you can do that with magic (which I learned bringing back said G2 heir). I guess you could argue they meant Ambrosia since they didn't mark it as a pack one, but I would say its like the "break-in" - do it however you can 🤷‍♀. I learned that if you open the Forgotten Grotto it stays open. My G3 NSB heir did it of course, and I decided to take G9 back there. Was going to bring G3 in to help but I didn't have to, it was no longer blocked. Considering its 6 gens later I'm going to say it never resests

It's easier to find death flowers in the magic realm potions stall than it is to find it in cottage living grocery stall. The one in cottage living only had a chance during the fairs if I'm not mistaken. While I have had 4 different sims across 3 save files consistently find death flowers in realm of magic...

You can also grab an angelfish at caster alley in glimmerstone where the potion ingredient stand is. Just keep checkin back every day to see new items until they have one. Edit: I eventually got impatient fishing and going to glimmerstone so I just went to a sims house I knew had a nice fish tank and just put the angelfish in my inventory 😄👍

I may try to do all of these with just one Sim...if I feel especially insane/masochistic that day. You'd have to plan it carefully, do things in a certain order...for example, if you Become an Occult by becoming a Spellcaster, then Raising a Sim from the Dead would be much easier. (No death flowers, no ambrosia--just one spell! Poof! Living person!) Some other objectives seem like they could be made to go together--for example, why not woohoo Vlad and/or Don Lothario (check) in a dumpster (check) in order to try for your twins or triplets? (Check!) Then, get into a big lover's quarrel right after you've taken the pregnancy test, and "Oh hey, honey, why don't you relax with a DIP IN THE POOL...?" You probably don't wanna go near the Cowplant Cake or pufferfish until AFTER you've done most of the other stuff...just in case.
