Natural wave is tighter because it's layered but it might also be the hair products, something closer to a curly girl routine. It might be added perm though. IDK I'm not a hairstylist, I just torture myself with girly details even though it's a dysphoria trigger because they feel like banked masking/morality credit!? "Girly details" are also devalued as detailed information and skillets and materials science in a way, where they shouldn't be. On lookalikes I've often wondered if Stevie was related to Mark Rober. Or some kind of clone.

Love how open and honest you are! I am not a woman who has a uterus but I have had a yeast infection in my lovely mad made vagina, and that shit sucks. Especially since my body doesn’t generate the same natural lubricants that a woman with a uterus would.

Did they advise you to take vaginal based probiotics after/during the antibiotics treatment? That way you could build/rebuild healthy flora? I'd assume it would be the same as a natal one in that case.

Ahh, gotcha. That and/or insertable "topical" estrogen may be something to ask your doctor about if it happens again. Hope everything is well now, and I hope that you have a great day! 🏳️‍⚧️💛

Always trust your body. I think the internet is a great tool but if you look up something medical you have to remember a lot of what you'll find is BS, a lot of it is real but due to context doesn't relate to your situation, and some of it will be difficult to interpret properly without a lot of research. If you have the option, it's better to visit a doctor. I just went through a medical situation. I started a new med & the first night I got hit out of nowhere by a serious dizziness, possibly vertigo. I felt nauseous. I took a nap & felt better. It actually scared me because one of my dogs is terrified of the bathroom & insisted on being in the bathroom with me. I really think they know things we don't. It was so sudden & severe my people started frantically looking up side effects of the med. My niece immediately found that dizziness was listed 3rd in side effects (top was brain bleeds). My husband found a couple references to dizziness so I stopped taking it & forgot about it until my next gp appointment. She was confused because dizziness is NOT a side effects. In her office I googled & showed her the dizziness under the first list of side effects. She looked genuinely confused & curious & read a bit then said "mayo clinic?" Like she was surprised, & grabbed my phone. A few clicks later I saw her ah-ha moment. There’s no associations between the medication & dizziness. The Google algorithm just picked up on dizziness being a warning sign of a brain bleed, which IS a side effect. I always knew not to blindly trust the internet but this really made me think differently about how these lists & summaries are put together. I'm usually concerned about intentionally false or misleading information. I see something from a source i trust, like the mayo clinic, and I feel OK believing it. But I didn't read the full articles and I got a very skewed idea of what was happening. Google just knows "dizziness" appears in articles about the side effects. It doesn't make sometimes essential, minor distinctions. I missed time I should have been on the medication and if I HAD realized that dizziness in relation to the medication meant brain bleed, I wouldn't have just gone sleep. I restarted the med with no side effects and have no idea what that dizziness was. I'm definitely more careful with Google since then.

Omg I had BV recently and didn’t have any symptoms. The only reason I went to the doctor was because I had itching in my labia majora (no irregular discharge, no smell, etc). Turns out the itching was from discharge with bacteria in it got in my underwear, which touched my skin and irritated it. I got it from it spreading to me from a girl I hooked up with, who turns out also didn’t know she had bv because she had no symptoms

I had BV once as a teenager and my only symptom was I had pale green kinda lumpy discharge. It looked like something that should have come out of my nose not my downstairs so I was pretty grossed out and worried lol

I was told that anything that changes the environment in there can cause things like BV to happen. One thing I wish they talked about was the fact that a bad infection can leave you feeling run down and tired. I have abdominal/ pelvic tenderness but like.... inside not in the hole. Discharge was white until.... it wasn't, it went green. Yikes. It took 4 weeks and some change and 3 rounds of antibiotics to make it go away. It was a rough month. Trans men are also at an increased risk for those infections because testosterone and general changes leave things a bit more vulnerable and temperamental. If you're not sure people, there are BV and yeast infection test kits at the store you can start with while you wait for the clinic.

Ooof, that sounds like a rough time/treatment. Yeah, T can definitely mess with things down there with the atrophy. Topical/insertable vaginal estrogen is something that can help! Atrophy can also effect the urethra and blatter control. :

@@theyoftheravens gotta love that /s I hate that nobody told me there was a suppository for estrogen and the cream is so messy I want to avoid it
@theyoftheravens
@theyoftheravens 4 ай бұрын
@@tiredgoblinboi yeah, as a downside the suppository or the estrogen ring are out of affordable range for a lot of folks (including myself). Doing the cream at night so that you're laid flat, and having a liner in your underwear helps a ton with it not being near as messy.

oh yep 10 days of antibiotics would certainly give me a yeast infection. i am very prone to yeast infections, i could literally take antibiotics for 2-3 days and already have a full on yeast infection from it. i get yeast infections just from not showering soon after a workout, or from sweating too much, or from sitting down too long. good news is i always have the medication for it on hand.

Oh girl, I've had several but then I found out my partner was having outside playtime and bringing things home, so there is that. I had the cottage cheese type, the penetration feels like sandpaper type, lots of them. Once I actually had gonorrhea in my throat. Dr thought it was strep and put me on antibiotics but then partner had to confess and omfg. Since then I had only been with women until recently. Menopause apparently really messed with my vagina, so I am on estrogen "for my bones" but also for my playtime. This feels like puberty all over again, but with condoms.

Looking back on it I think I may have had BV yeeeeaars ago but I ended up needing antibiotics for something totally unrelated and that resolved it without me even knowing. Because I did have common symptoms, but at the time I didn't know they weren't just regular vagina things :\

I really like being a man if only for the sex organ health. Like all I need to do is a non irritating soap once a day and wrap it before sex and I'm done. No maintenance other than that. I'm genuinely sorry everyone can't have it that easy.
@glrendon81
@glrendon81 4 ай бұрын
I feel like that varies widely by individuals though. I am 42 and have only once had a suspected yeast infection that lasted for a couple of days and no other issues, but I remember one male cousin always getting jock itch and having to scratch and another had some major infection when he was 12. But I would say overall you prob do have the more low maintenance genitals. But washing daily with mild soap and using protection is normally the only maintenance a healthy woman should need too, except of course on period days.
