I am german and making a acquaintance into a friend is a process that can take you years. In our culture we usually just have one or two people max of who we would think of as good friends. It may seems like a long time, but those fellas are the kind of friends that would help you hide a body, leave a date early because you called them and they will be definitely at your funeral mourning the most.

To be completely honest, i can immediatly make an initial connection. That connection is to decide wether it is worth persuing a friendship. After that i takes a couple to a few dosen hours to solidify a friendship. But its quite difficult to pin point a cut off point. And ofcourse masks exist, but a mask is often not entirely fabricated.

I had a broken build with the Coin Throwing build. Essentially You get the "Heal when you get coins" and the Coin throwing spell. Every time you throw coins out and grab them, you heal. Coincidentally I actually AFK'd the author in the same run.

one of the most fun degenerate builds i found is to give summoned books mana drain. the books fire as they regenerate their mana pool which determines the cooldown at which they fire, and mana drain charges each individual books internal mana when they fire it. this means, mana drain has almost no cooldown on the books and it looks like theyre firing a constant laser. now combine that with a wand with post charge slots that say "gain charge each time an enemy is hit/a spell is cast with this wand" and you start spitting spells like a mad man with practically no cooldown since each individual mana drain fired by a book gives you charge. it looked especially funny with butterflies and meteors. but you can abuse that combo to machine gun cast pretty much any spell.

It normally takes atleast a couple hours of being in their presense, but it can even be atleast 5-10 minutes of directly talking to them to learn them. Normally i perceive and watch people from a distance to view their natural self, and i approach depending on wether i view them as morally good or not Of course people can be deceitful and trick me, but im only human afterall. Personally i really enjoy these questions, it provides a sense of uniqueness to your videos but i only recently started watching beggining with these magicraft videos

It varies a lot for me. It could be a single interaction over a few minutes or it could be months of interactions. When it happens quickly there is almost certainly bias, but there is bias in everything. If I was wrong then that becomes future me's problem. When it happens over a long period of time, it's usually not people I interact with directly or frequently (friends of friends or coworkers, that sort of thing) so I don't think those people would be trying to adapt to me. And if they are, they'd do that regardless which means that's part of who they are and I'll learn that eventually.

As someone that hides behind masks when first meeting people. It depends on the person, i personally start showing my true self to that person when im comfortable with that person. And again depending on the person it might be hours, days, or never. To understand someone, it takes me about a day but to decide if they will be my friend takes me a few weeks. The reason it does is so that I can know how they act and see if I should immitate them. Your closest friends are the ones you are most like, thus I choose to be picky about them.

I think 3 meetings/encounters/dates is enough to know if this person is for you. Also about QOTD you should always put that at the beginning of the video so i can get distracted from the boring early game(since there isnt rly going anything on the 1st act of the game) writing comments about QOTD is rly handy to kind of skip the boring part and get more attention to the video when it gets good

I love the philosophical questions. I think I start to feel a vibe on a inner level within a few minutes about a person but it takes a lot more time to really pin those feelings down into something substantial. I would desribe it as the difference between impressionistic feelings and a deeper knowing of a person. Sometimes you like a person in the impression period but over a longer course of time you see things come out that changes that for better or worse.

i learn whether or not someone is worth me pursuing a friendship in the first like thirty minutes or so, unless they do immediate loud and clear red flags and then i know in like five, most of the time how i know what makes someone worth it to me is how they respond to things around them

The time it takes me to judge if I want someone in my life is a question of their first story. When someone tells me a story, be it while I'm at work, while they're at work, as random strangers, passers-by, any time, a story told by someone will tell you so much about them in a short enough time.

For that you can see the health relic, they should add that you do some percent more damage to max life creatures or something to make it worth having. Could make it even more impactful that says something like +10% damage for 3 seconds after hitting an enemy at max health, anything to make it interesting and worthwhile.

I have the arcane explosion outfit leveled up, and the 3rd level only upgrades the level of the relic another time. I'm pretty sure that this applies to the summoner one too. Your best bet would be to upgrade the dash set or save for any potential upcoming content.

i m a big dude so most people talk with a certain level of fear when they first meet me. if people show respect and are not anxious when talking they get my attention instantly. mutual trust and care over a couple of key interactions makes them friends untill they do something to break the trust. i don t use the "best friends" category because the only ones above friends are the family members and there are no such things as "best brother" or so on.

You definitely should grind for the charged dash upgrade. The first run you did was without that passive shooting in flight unlocked. Also I think the ranged attack set is better than summoner set. Just think of spells like snakes or fires spawning right at the enemies. It definitely can have more creative uses than just being invisible.

within a few minutes, I know when to definitely not make a person a friend, it's purely a gut feeling I have to talk or watch them in different situations to know if they are trustworthy, I usually respect and trust others until they do something to jeopardize that, be it take advantage of me, disrespect me or others close to them or me, or doing things that would go against my values the more time a person spends in my "you're okay" zone, the closer they get to me (I trust them with more things, I like spending more time with them, etc), it can all change in a heartbeat tho

If you're being an ahole with me even though its a weird phase of your life or because of something else, you're still being an ahole so i want nothng to do with you. Now if that same person then comes and explains why they were being like that and apologize you give them another chance. Being mature is also having self control over your own emotions and not lashing on people that have nothing to do with your situation. And there is also aspect of the personality, if someone likes silence and peaceful moments and another one is really loud etc... they would not like to be friends

It takes me one sentence to determine whether they have a fit around me, so getting to know someone fully for me depends on how long they take to get acostume to me. Obviously a lot of interactions will create bond though. As someone who knows a bit of psychology I think I subconsciously compute how they’re like, for example during a work event I knew that some random employee from another location somehow knew that they were chill and nice to be around, and let and behold my intiution was right. I believe everyone does this, but computing, whether they know this to the extend that they can be friends, largely depends on different amount of times it takes them to fully know it.

For me, I dont usually think about if the other person is themselves or not because I believe whatever face they show to me is their true face for me. Now I dont usually make lifelong friends after just meeting them for 5 mins. So if I do continously meet them, then I believe that at some point they are going to show their true face as you described it. This couldve easily gotten me into bad friend groups but for some reason whether by luck or instinct, I dont remember a single time where I made a bad friend. Almost all the people I talked with and befriended have genuinely been good lads. I feel like if you treat them like they are a good person, they may show you a similar mask?

i thought about this question before, and i realised this is true for me (idk about anyone else) to know someones true self usually in factor of three depending on circumstances, if they know they wont see you again they became more loose, i.e. on a vacation, it would take 3 hours at most 3 days (for long vacation) for some one who'll be together for a long time i.e. school or work place, it would take 3 months or three years. this is not my opinion, this is just me

Another of your questions in recent videos was about if we believed masks are part of us. To which i believe yes it is. Those masks are a small part of our whole self. While i was serving in military (artillery sergeant btw) i learned to "know" people in a week or so. One week of harsh reality and stressful situations and you understand how a person behaves and what are his priorities. I wont lie if ill say that it shows a lot and says a lot about a person in question. This skill transfers nicely to the world outside of military service tho

You can get every curse at the same time if you just are tanky enough at the last boss and let him hit you sometimes with his ghosts. Last time i did that i had 200% dmg from the lvl 1 cursed relic

Idk if this has been done already or not but.... What if you have meteor with tracking and bounce? So the meteor will hit then bounce then track to the same enemy or another one then hit it again and keep repeating untill it has no more bounces possibly? Basicly you click once and you just do a million explosions on an enemy.

And then get owned by it tracking to an enemy next to you. Automatic tracking on indiscriminate damage spells is a very bad idea even with damage reduction relic.
