My thesis is that the Officer simply wanted to appear on camera. The proof of my thesis is the fact he approached a grown man at the side of the road, and advised him that it's unsafe to stand in the middle of the road. [i] It is assumed it is not standard practice for the Police to approach people at the side of the road and give them safety advice. [ii] The only difference between Reggie waiting to cross the road, and anyone else waiting to cross the road, is the presence of the camera. Therefore, I assert that [i] confirms the Officer's action was unusual, and [ii] is the premise behind the Officer's action. In conclusion, the Officer wanted to appear on cam looking like he was exerting his power, but ended up making himself look like a fool.

I've seen videos of TV License Inspectors (or whatever the BBC/Capita calls them) knock on people's door, or even enter their property and inform them, “You do not have to say anything. But, it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”. It appeared to be an attempt to imply they had more authority than they really do, i.e., the power to arrest and detain. Scary to think how many people they intimidated and scared in their own home.

DJI fly app doesn't show a geo fence around the docks. Drone Assist shows a no fly zone but further south than where you were. Seaforth and Waterloo show as OK to fly. CRAZY

I couldn’t see any restrictions around that port. It’s interesting that people think there is one. The CTR to the south is not a drone flight restriction zone. The clue is in the irregular shape. If an aircraft landing at Liverpool is below 400ft over the docks, crashing into a drone is the least of its worries.
