They're not just a regular they are unqualified and very biased in most cases. I remember a judge he was trying to appoint that refused to answer a the question when asked what a woman was. Her response was that she was not a biologist and therefore couldn't answer the question. Senator Kennedy asked one of them what a braiding motion was and he was unaware of what that was and said that he had never heard of it before in his life he was currently a sitting federal judge and he didn't know what Brady versus the state of Maryland was. It's no shocked that he try to appoint someone who didn't know because the person he picked for his vice president knowingly and intentionally committed Brady violations and even supported and condoned it while she was attorney general. She refused to stop it from happening when her staff was complaining and only did something about it when she was involved in a scandal when her office was fighting to keep a man in jail using a falsified confession. These are the people in charge of our country. People who appoints Insanity to our top positions and who think it's okay to withhold evidence from defense counsel that shows the defendants are innocent or potentially innocent just so they can prosecute them. Who knows how many innocent people are in jail because of what she did and the most amazing part of it is this was all public knowledge and the people of the State of California voted to elect her as a United States Senator. Anyone who does a Google search can find it so in my mind that makes everyone who voted for them evil and horrible for supporting such an evil and horrible person who would do these things or they're just stupid and I think some of them are just stupid but I also think some of them are evil and horrible and just don't care. I mean look what they do they ride in the streets and attack innocent people and try to burn down a courthouse with 3,000 people in there that says a lot about the Democrat Mafia supporters.

Why is Senator Cruz considered to be tough, when he is just asking these candidates to be accountable for their actions and past practice? Every question Senator Cruz ask was regarding the specific actions each candidate took that put innocent American’s lives at risk. Under the circumstances why were any of those candidates ask to be considered? Senator Cruz actions are required. He is committed to his due diligence as a Senator by pointing out the conflict of interest and asking for an explanation. Senator Cruz has the necessary documentation available for these candidate’s to review. Although, the conflicts of interest are so gross and extreme that the candidates actions are indefensible, but they have been exposed. That’s not tough, that’s commendable, because otherwise how would anyone know these candidates are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Pay close attention to everything. You'll see that some people don't say it at all. Most of those are either borderline "in contempt of congress", just completely rude. Consider that the people asking questions represent millions of us. Even if we don't like some of them. Some who are questioned are very relaxed experts who are in their element, and talking about what they were brought in for. Regardless of the pressure. I like those people a lot, they are the truth tellers. Nothing to fear. It takes courage to keep composure, because what you are doing at the end of the day is you are dismissing someone's emotional response that they are trying to enact for attention online and in the media. You threaten their livelihood come election time in their district, and when you threaten a man's livelihood things get ugly.... that is just how the current emotionally overcharged congress operates... growing pains... ETA 10 years and we will be soulless for 20. (this is why I don't really like Ted... he's too emotional sometimes.) ### TO get to your question though. The TLDR; "Thank you for the question" allows 3 seconds to think of an answer you think they want to hear for a question that is not part of your professional repertoire. Also, it can be used for 3 seconds to think of a lie... depends on what type of person you are. In politics, it's a game of nuance. These hearings are not meant to judge anyone, they are meant to expose them to us and get support. This is making sausage, and when it works, they are actually talking about very boring things... but when we have ridiculous party politics from one side like the DNC has been doing, nothing works right... they should be talking about how they want to cut the budget, but they can't. They get tied up trying to block these ridiculous nominees, blind-sided by constant amendment injections, they have highschoolers pulling the fire alarm, media acting like they are in debate class and not doing their job correctly, and the intelligence apparatus, nor is the DOJ, going to be helping out anytime soon. Congress really does have their hands full. It's a double-edged sword for our government though, the more congress heats up, the more we notice, and the more we know about things they don't want us to know about. Ultimate investigative authority belongs to congress. If they really want to, the easiest law to break is the one of declassification. They know things you would wish you didn't know.
