Jamdani is actually traditional weaving, It's not counted as modern day garment sector. You know about muslin fabric of the mughals & British era, right? New age jamdani weavers are the successors of those ancient muslin weavers. India also has their own kind of beautiful jamdani yet the most famous jamdani in the whole world is ours. ❤️

Hand woven muslin from Dacca was must-have in all the royal houses of Europe in the 17th century. The finest most exquisite fabric perhaps ever. It was awesome to see how high end sarees are made.

The place where you went to visit Mariam is neighbouring to my residence in Dhaka. It's just a 15 minute walking distance from my house. I also like the way you present things in your contents.
