I HAVE NEVER Seen This Happen Before... (What Did THIS?!)

The hunt for some spring flathead continues, but more importantly.. The hunt for Jor-Dans FIRST flathead starts. We set out early in hopes of just seeing one throughout an all day fishing sesh as a storm was rolling in. Toting dang near every rod we own. It took some effort with some trials along the way but.. WE GOT IT DONE! PAAA POWWW!!!

Yes I have had a fish bit in half plenty of times. I brought my line in once a hudge snapper was hanging on trying to bite it in half. Love watching these videos. Haven't got to fish much this year.

Yup. Ive had that happen exactly one time. Brought in a live sunfish and it looked exactly like that. Looked like it got chopped in half with a hatchet. Big North Carolina snapping turtle.

Whenever you catch a drum chop the head off. I would almost rather use a drum head than bullhead/sunfish. When it’s pre spawn is the best for flats. Idk what flats are doing in your state but almost all my pre spawn flats came from drum heads.
