We already are though. Thors's and Thorfinn's philosophies are hard to adhere to during the viking age, where everyone is just part of a tribe. AOT is pretty straight forward about it's philosophy with Eren and the Manga ending gives a proper ending to it's philosophy. On the other end Vinland saga is very much deeper than that and there's a reason why it's Seinen(18+). It doesn't spoonfeeed you it's deepness as much as AOT does. But at the end both of them have different philosophies and purpose. It's just what you wanna watch.
