Animals are being sacrificed for the sake of human entertainment in events like calf roping. These innocent calves are subjected to unbearable pain as their necks are twisted and their fragile bodies slammed onto the ground, causing fatal injuries like broken backs, necks, heart attacks, and aneurysms. To make matters worse, those who manage to survive these traumatic events are given no time to rest or recover. Instead, they are loaded onto trucks and hauled off to the next rodeo where they are forced to perform again and again until they can no longer keep up. When they are deemed unfit to participate any longer, their so-called "retirement" often leads them to a one-way trip to the slaughterhouse. The late Dr. C.G. Haber, a veterinarian who spent 30 years as a federal meat inspector, witnessed firsthand the brutal fate of many rodeo animals. He described seeing animals with multiple broken ribs and detached skin with up to three gallons of accumulated blood. The event that showcases the most heinous cruelty is calf roping, and its elimination could lead to the eventual eradication of rodeo shows altogether. It's time we consider the suffering of these innocent animals and rethink the ethics of using them as mere objects of entertainment.

@@christianz8020 I know most of the steers that are used for rodeo have most of these injuries but when he takes them to the slaughter house, what do you expect? For them to keep on living? Obviously they are put out of there misery. I'm probably gonna assume your a vegetarian, because other wise I wouldn't be talking, be lucky most people can eat beef
