This is such a fantastic resource Dr Snore! I found you at Asthma UK where someone had recommended your KZbin video on How To UseA Nasal Spray. There was so much in there that I have never been told, even to point the spray toward your ear! Who knew that there are gill- like structures in your nose! Thank you so very much for providing this information. Why aren’t patients being told/demoed this when they are first prescribed nasal sprays? It’s crazy! I am about to download your knee app. I’m sure there will be thousands of interested people so I’m sharing with people I know too. Best wishes and many heartfelt thanks to you. X.

For example, sometimes as my cellphone alarms go off in the morning and I click on the App to stop the recordings, it exits the App and upon returning I have lost all the data and it appears only on the main display. I wanted to suggest that maybe it would be a good idea to create, within the app, a way for users to provide feedback on their usage and possible glitches. That may help to repair software issues and improve its usage. Thank you again for releasing this App.

Don’t smoke drink or am overweight and nasal airway is clear. Am currently awaiting to see an ent specialist so in the meantime found the only thing that has significant results as a tongue retainer. This has taken a snore lab score from 80 down to 15. It’ is is very uncomfortable but is the only thing that work while I wait to see a specialist. Could a tongue tie be the main cause of my snoring. 1. The app has shown consistently that I have 0% of time over 30 dB. What can you tell us about reliability of your app in catching sounds of snoring? It would be helpful to have information of this kind to show to medical professionals who assume without evidence that a patient is a frequent and loud snorer. 2. How can I access the recordings of the loud points over the night (if any) that you said are automatically recorded so one can hear one's snoring?
@VikVeerENTSurgeon2 жыл бұрын
in the morning when you turn off the recording the app will offer you a selection of clips of the loudest points of each night. you will need to store them each individually.
@nancylindsay42552 жыл бұрын
@@VikVeerENTSurgeon So if no offer of clips, then there's been no snoring? That's consistent with your app's finding that I have 0% of time over 30dB. Now how can I convince all of my medical practitioners to stop assuming I am a heavy snorer? Have you any information on reliability of your or other snoring apps? The sleep clinic I have to go to clearly wants SO badly to hook me into CPAP use whether or not it is needed or appropriate. The ONLY test they offer me is the take-home WatchPat and the ONLY possible outcomes are: 1. You are a heavy snorer or 2. You have OSA -- based solely on the test's RDI score -- and you MUST commit BEFORE being tested to wearing a CPAP if your RDI is 5 or above. They want me to do this before my known nasal anatomical obstruction and insomnia are addressed adequately. My frustration is enough to make me start grinding my teeth!

Thank you so much for all your effort, on behalf of myself and moreso, my partner! My sleep apnoea causes her all sorts of issues, and I have bought the Hope2Sleep chinstrap thanks to your video on it! The app is fantastic, and I would like to suggest some personal changes? But please don't take them as criticisms! - the X axis of the graph is in minutes, which can involve a bit of mathematics to work out at what time any snoring is taking place. So maybe get rid of the minute values, and replace them with times? For example, if you sleep at 12am, have the X axis go 1am, 2am, 3am... So on and so forth. It makes it a bit easier to follow and give a better mental idea of what the full night's activity was, without working out how long 178 minutes from 11:42pm is haahaa. - not sure if I have been using it right, but there are no audio recordings to playback? At least not in analysis mode, from last dates. Maybe that's my fault though and I am not using the app right? Audio recordings would help, as me and my partner just debated if she went to the toilet or if I was snoring haahaa. Either way, I love the app, and I love your videos, so a huge thank you from the both of us for all of your hard work, kindness, and effort.
