I have never experienced God in church. So I stopped going. However I have experienced peace within myself. That calm confident voice inside me that picks me up when I'm falling. And when the inside voice grows quiet coz my fear gets too loud, it starts manifesting itself externally. Whenever I look at screens I see different information. God created all powers. So people with witchcraft used the power for their own selfish ambition. I am a Christian and I am an empath and see through people even in their lies, sad and happy moments. I hear information before even thinking it, I get information vividly in dreams to the point of not needing to be interpreted, sometimes feel people's physical symptoms when I'm not the one sick until I would find out that someone next to me is sick. I’m the same! I was so fearful and lived in chains of fear, as a Christian! On top of that brought up in a conservative home (my parents love them Mzungus it’s unreal) I never ever felt I knew what I was doing, simply because it never felt natural to me (speech/ manners/ religion and school) as a melanated being. Aged 5/6 i said a prayer in Sunday school. When I was done, the teacher pulled me to the side and said “…the prayer was good but you need to end with ‘in Jesus name, I pray. Amen”’ Well, I said my prayers that night and chanting that name, I deeply believe gave me the most horrific nightmare! I woke up traumatised! I respectfully continue practicing this faith, to please my parents, until my late teens! When I was done and coincidentally that summer, we went to visit my grandmother (back in Southern Africa), for the first time in my fathers village! She laid hands on me.. I was 18 years old and tbh didn’t understand then, but I do now! Even though we met a few times in my life, she knew we were alike! My grandmother was an infant, when the missionaries, she witnessed colonisation, apartheid, the horrific treatments of our people! She refused their religion, that they forced on our people! That’s why she chose to live rural, refused to visit anyone in towns or cities, never consumed packaged foods or beverages! She was a real pan Africanist! unfortunately before I was fully awake 😔 she died from a leg injury (as she was ploughing the fields, a cow kicked her) aged 93 years old! I was deeply hurt because I planned to visit her that summer! After her passing I became more reserved, which greatly helped with my spiritual journey! I managed to graduate with a bachelors degree in human nutrition. I find myself amongst nature than crowds of people! I am the black sheep of the family lol, but I don’t care because I’ve never felt this FREE in my life!

I grew up in church with my uncle being a bishop with 7-8 churches under his ministry. But having studied about various religions, for, I’ve seen the single mindset of those who are religious. The Bible teaches that God is all loving yet within the versus God commands the murder of ppl which includes children and accepts spoils ie gold, virgins, so is that love of all. It even states that there shall be no other before me, that is self-pride. People who are spiritual beings believe the creator exists in allll things. I am more spiritual and believe the creator/god self evolved and as a single being exploded, by doing so, this life force hurled into the void bringing forth light and creation, but not all creation is of light. Angels are light beings, jinn are dark/fire beings. The reason intelligent life will say they know not of God because God was that initial spark. She knew what she was talking about but he was not open to hear her, I heard you Sis… The Bible states in genesis “let us make man in our image” who is ‘our’ that is plural not singular. When God brought the plagues upon Egypt each plague affected an Egyptian deity, the killing of the first born was a blow to the goddess Taweret, protective goddess of children. That was a blow to the ppl that their beloved goddess failed them. Religion has always been used as a control, there is always religion and rulers with the rulers seeking heavenly guidance via religion. The druids were spiritual and worshippers of nature and it’s forces, those forces were assigned deities and called upon accordingly. But if we were made in the creators image then we are gods incarnate here on earth and when we speak with intention and conviction it becomes reality, not immediately but continuously it comes… keep saying you dislike your job and the universe will place events in your path where you will lose that job. But until you can solidify proof in any form one’s mind is closed to other enlighten possibilities. I grew up in church and when my mom was in a coma for months and I was faced with pulling the 🔌 I prayed like there was no tomorrow with such conviction, she woke a week later and is now a miracle. Christianity teaches it's followers that they are right because the tradition is old (not the oldest though) and most people accept it willingly because doing so affords you the acceptance of most of society. Though it was given to us by oppressors, most black people refuse to research the origins of Christianity and prefer to just stick to the tradition. Safety in numbers I guess.

If you'd like to look into it I'd recommend Greek Orthodox Christianity and Coptic/Egyptian Orthodox Christianity, Arabian Orthodoxy is interesting too, their arias and chants are very soothing
