Im scared to lose the donkey at my Barn, Ollie. He does not live in the best conditions and he is old so i try to make him happy, i brush him give him treats but it seems like nothing is working to help him, he lives in a tiny field thats all poo and mud with 3 other mini horses who are also old all that i want for them is to be sold so they can live the rest of there life like your donkeys. You gave Willow and Bruno the best life that they could get and i thank you for that.

Truly losing them is the hardest part. I would give *anything* to get to relive even my worst day with my mare if only I could see her one more time. It's wonderful too that you started your channel and now have all of this beautiful footage of them to remember them by. Your family gave them long, beautiful lives and they get to leave behind an incredible legacy. My heart goes out to you and your family and Tobey. It does get better but that doesn't dampen the pain when it's fresh - it's good that you can lean on each other and mourn together.

It's been a difficult winter even for horses without health conditions. Willow I assume her arthritis became even worse despite having it her whole life and her old age wouldn't have helped

I’m so sorry, it’s so hard to lose an animal, especially one that has been with you for so long. I can’t imagine losing two in such a short amount of time. I think most people who have had animals will agree that they are family and that they truly hold a special place in your heart. You and your family are wonderful people who gave them such wonderful lives, they have left their mark on thousands of people’s lives and have done so much in their lives. Having these videos to look back on is a gift, but it can be very hard to look at clips of them so soon after their loss. Please make sure to prioritise yourself, you do so much for your community but the loss of an animal is bound to hurt and it is completely understandable that you would be feeling a lot right now.
