Controlling the image of your private product is nothing new. Go try to do your own thing with an NFL game. Good luck with that. I developed a product that was associated with the Denver Broncos. I approached the NFL about this so it could be sold within the property of the stadium. What I would have had to do to accomplish that was extremely difficult (and costly!). Walking around recording to publish their games or events within the stadium would not be tolerated, if you've been recognized as one with a public platform and reputation of doing so. I never could follow through on their requirements (didn't have the money, and the product was limited life), so I simply stayed away and sold it on my own, without their markings or marketing it as an NFL product. No big deal. The NFL games is their private business, and they can do what they want (within the bounds of the law). If you really want to show all of the material, then go ask what the criteria is for an "accredited" media recognition. Document the written dialogue, and either follow through to become a part of it yourself, or you can publicly expose their reply if there really is no such thing and it's just a bunch of quid quo pro insider stuff. If anything, you might be the first to inject a little more unbiased media into the sport. Also, if you really have an eye for potential safety issues on a track, it'd be a lot more honorable to report it before the racing starts as opposed to just waiting there for guys to wad it so you can get video. Honestly, what is the real value of that, to you? Safety? Or clicks?

These events are about showcasing incredible skills, daring tricks, and the raw, unfiltered reality of the sport, including the risks involved. Nowadays, it seems that commercial interests are overshadowing the true essence of these activities. At the end of the day, we should be free to enjoy and share the genuine experiences captured at these events, without interference. It’s important for the community to have access to and appreciate the full scope of what happens in motocross, both the impressive feats and the potential consequences. With peace and love.

From what I understand about the insurance issue is that there is a limited number of companies even willing to consider insuring a sport like this. It’s a liability nightmare. And insurance companies will absolutely gather as much information as possible (including these videos) to make decisions about costs. If the insurance companies go away, so does the racing. Like it or not, that’s the world of business and they hold a lot of power.

Post a video a week and each video focus on fixing something you didn’t like about the previous video and repeat and you will get a ton better. An "accredited" photographer looks at his partner and says: What does the white flag mean again?* Are you kidding me?! He got the credentials and doesn't know THAT? they're hiring "kids" who are eager for low pay *this is during moto 2 450s

He had a blue vest on had a little camera that he just bought (so he could have 4k lol) and had called another photographer who is more knowledgeable down there Edit: we were standing right in front of the finish line essentially The media company didn't have a branding on the vest, it was just blue that said media, they were many at the event I'm just saying all this for the sake of clarity. This was definitely a paid and hired photographer who literally didn't know what the white flag meant. That's really sad. That's not just motocross, that's Moto sports
