Damn son, dad can shred, paint, and has a sense of humor. He’s a class act. Love it. On a more sentimental note, watching this reminds me of how lucky some of us are to have amazing parents (or parental figures). I am lucky enough to have a dad (and a mom) who instilled so many life lessons and good morals unto me and helped me become the man I am today, and helped me become a lover of music and a musician. He is a great role model, a great friend, and, most importantly, a great father. He’s been there for me through the ups and downs and is always ready to not only love me, but impart wisdom and lessons relevant to whatever I’m going through. Knowing my grandfather, I know where he gets it from, but it still takes a good person to continue that trend and pass it on to their children, much as I hope to do so with my daughter. I truly feel for those who never knew this joy, but I hope to impart my own wisdom. Break the cycle. You are who you want to be. Be the person they should have been, whether to your own children or to others. Sending a big ol dad bear hug to those who went through that pain. Know that you are loved, appreciated, and valued, even if it’s by some random stranger in the youtube comments
