I tried this on my ps4pro, it just shuts my ps4 down and reboots into checking system storage

strangely mine was delivered to the Uk today, a V2, mine with no instructions and a black plastic usb. V1 for an 11 and I wanted a v2 for my 9.00. Yes I know the 9 can be done with a usb but I prefer the newer RJ45 method, set and forget.

Is it just firmware 9.0 and 11.0 or all the firmware in between as well such as 9.03?

Just 9.0 and 11.0 as far as I know. I don't have a 9.x to test though.

@@timohgit won’t connect to internet? U have to change ur settings back to WiFi afterwards once it runs the ppwn exploit

So the ps4 must be on 9.00 or 11.00 to work with the dongle? What if the ps4 firmware 9.60 or 10.00 ? Can the dongle work normally?

Can you connect it to your pc to update pppwn? Maybe for future if you want update to 11.5 or 12fw, if there is jb.

Just wait for the incoming web exploit to be ported to esp boards. Esp modules are really cheap. I'm gonna stick with the Ethernet cable method because it's way more stable. I might use the web exploit occasionally if I'm feeling lazy and don't wanna boot up the PC.

It does seem a bit high but when your lights go out when someone randomly turns off your PlayStation or you have your system connected to an Alexa plug and the plug decides to randomly turn off. Having to do the exploit every time with a PC because you don't have LG supported TV or have a ethernet dongle for your phone, that price sounds more manageable 😂 The frustration that I have to go through every time 😂

Well, I think for the most part pppwn is done. So I wouldn't expect the device itself ever needs it, so you can always update goldhen via usb. But that is a good point.

always have the luckfox pico pppwn available at a bit cheaper of a price - just you gotta manually set it up compared to this version on aliexpress

Do kernel Panics still occur with PPPWN?

no if it fails it will try again and again up until it will trigger

I use luckfox and there are kernal panics. Mostly happens when I shutdown the system; sometimes it stops abruptly and then I have to press power button twice to turn it on, followed by a checking system storage message. This is the most common fault in mine.

Thats all i can get my v2 of this to do, it just locks the ps4 after like 5th to 10th attempt @hsp1316
