Honestly, take all the time that you need, if u notice that youre getting tired from having to film, take a break and then pick up a camera only when uoure actually excited to film… and if that never happens again thats totally okay ❤ dont overwork urself king

Crazy that you just uploaded this because I've been having a bit of a meltdown this morning over this whole friendship stuff. Feels like after you're done with college, year after year those friends that you still care about a lot stopped reciprocating at some point and you just didn't get the memo. It's quite painful and leaves you feeling stupid. Like why did I write someone a happy birthday message wishing them all of the most positive things in the world, the type you would for a close family member, and they're just like 'girl idgaf leaving u on read ijbol'

Completely hear you on the one sided friendships - I've had 3 of them so far, and I just ended the last friendship I had, hopefully will never have to deal with any of these anymore. It was actually someone at work and we became good friends. I met her kids, we went to conventions, dinners, etc. basically just hung out and did stuff. But she was always very negative and most of the time she talked to me it was to vent - there was always something that that she took poorly when someone said or did something, most of the time not even directly to her she just got offended because they didn't kiss her ass when she spoke up. It finally happened to me where she got offended by something I said at an event I was hosting and I just told her straight up afterwards that I was deeply hurt by her accusations and I'll only talk to her about work stuff. She kept trying to bitch at me but I just ignored her lol. Unfortunately I'm a senior leader in the DEI space at work so not sure how this is going to go over but I don't care anymore. One sided friendships suck but you will pull through - hoping that you feel unburdened because it truly is such a relief when you cut someone out that was weighing you down mentally/emotionally.

Dealing with friendship breakups is SO hard and often worse than a regular romantic breakup. It's a necessary evil of getting older, but it just means you're growing and understanding your personal needs/wants more.

Also, I was going through the friendship situation not too long ago and yes I was grieving the friendship at first but after a while I realized that the only person putting in effort was me. I look back at all the times I overextended myself and my kindness and I regret not cutting them out sooner. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect anything in return when I show love to my friends and do stuff for them but reciprocity is the bare minimum! I have 2 jobs and it’s so exhausting i wake up at 6 am go in at 7 get off at 3 go in to my other job at 4 get off at 9.. i literally have no time for myself sometimes..
