im surprised nex items havent tanked in price considering how necromancy has made nex extremely easy now to solo. I came back to this game after 2 years and solod her with no food first try and im not a good pvmer at all

ranged is mostly still the meta for nex, and she wasn't particularly hard to solo beforehand anyway so the drops haven't felt the same affect as most bosses. although most nex drops are dropping in price a lot anyway

A few tips I can offer that might help (as someone who couldn't do a Zuk fight for the longest time): 1. If you're using magic, recast Animate Dead after every jad wave. If you're using necromancy, recast Darkness. They only last 12m and my first kill took almost 45. During the igneous mage wave for instance, I would always end up taking way more damage than I should only to realize my Animate Dead had ended the previous wave. 2. Switch to a Ripper Demon familiar for the actual Zuk fight. Made my pizza phases so much smoother. The damage boost they offer is definitely noticeable when you're on a time limit 3. Go through the entire fight to the end, even if you die or have to bail to avoid dying. Seeing the fight through to the end will help you learn what to expect from the waves and Zuk himself and give you the practice and experience necessary to do the full fight 4. Sometimes bullshit happens and there's nothing you can do other than curse and retry. On a recent Zuk run for a Reaper Task, Zuk did his earthquake attack ("The earth yields to me!"), and I used Dive to get behind him to avoid the ground cracks, and they appeared under me anyways, setting off both my sign of life (defense cape on Anachronia) and my Ring of Death before I could even react. I hadn't even gotten the first pizza phase.
