I like how my stomach adapts to any food I eat in international cuisines when I travel. Yet as a traveler my main issue is my skin , it always gets rough (I do have mild skin eczema) and I always develop acne when I travel to other countries since my skin can’t adapt to the change in temperature and I always find myself traveling to countries with 4 seasons which really has a major difference compared to my home country which has a tropical climate.

Hi Drew, I'm a doctor, I just watched your video. I think the message can't be generalized. Because you get sick so often, yes, by all means do not always take antibiotics (like cyprofloxacin) for your traveller's diarrhea because it will mess up your intestinal microbiota. That being said, any other person that is a casual traveller shouldn't fear taking prescribed antibiotics for traveller's diarrhea, there's no point in suffering for no real benefit. Also, there are regions of the world where bacteria have gained resistance to cyprofloxacin, so metronidazole is used instead. That, among other things, is why anybody who is going to travel to a different country should have a a "travel consultation" beforehand. Also, during the trip, traveller's should avoid tap water, uncooked vegetables, fresh juices and everything that can't be garanteed to be without pathogens that your body as a foreigner isn't used to. Exceptions are countries with high levels of quality control for food and water, like Western European countries, and even so depending on the specific region in the country

Anyways, we go back home and whilst going up an elevator my vision starts to get blury and I flat out fainted without realising it... A day or 2 passed and alhamdulilah I made a steady recovery

Haha true but well peoples' stomachs are not all the same. And especially I really think it's getting used to it though. We here in the West are used to cleanliness all the time, so it's not weird our stomachs are weak against dirt and stuff. Maybe actually trying to get your stomach gradually used to it is the best. But on the other hand, we don't really know if those food vloggers don't ever get it, because we don't know what happens behind the curtains and maybe they don't tell us about it, haha. Also make sure that the food you eat in a restaurant is piping hot, as the way I got it in Madagascar was by eating a dish that had clearly been left to cool after it had been put on the plate, thus allowing bacteria to gather.

Hi drew A natural treatment for diarrhoea is fresh pomegranate skin eat the inside white part of the skin. My grandmother told me about this it really works Also my dad was a great friend of British foreign secretary and he always swore by eating the native natural yougart straight away when in visiting any country I've done this and never had any stomach upset It's will be 99% salad as they wash it with local water not the salad itself Bottle water is best Hope you get well soon love from 🇬🇧
