Keep trucking with your own thing. Don't let your previous band discourage you from creating music! Look for ways you can turn this into a new opportunity for yourself!

Sorry to hear about your departure from the band. Kids, THEIR acxtivities, etc... Plus travel for work. It's a lot. It's a lot for you, but its even more on your home support system... aka your significant other. I applaud you for continuing to play and take that time for yourself. All in the ebbs and flow of life I guess. Just keep playing and enjoy everything those kids do, while they are around..... it doesn't last forever.

I went through the same thing twenty years ago or so. Had two kids, wife, mortgage, all the usual. Had to give up band stuff for the same reasons. It’s kind of tough because it makes you rethink how you think of yourself and who you are. I’m happy to report that I’m still playing, still love music, both my sons play guitar. They show their old man new bands and I have showed them all the classics. I’m still buddies with old bandmates. Life is good.

I’m sorry to hear about this. It’s hard when your hand is forced I guess and you have to make such big decisions. I came into this year in a reasonable sized band which I put a shed ton of effort into last year with loads of exciting prospects lined up this year but it disbanded out of nowhere. It absolutely left me devastated. But having said that, when I picked myself back up it allowed me to work more on my KZbin channel which has been going for a while now plus my other much smaller band A Lost Cause. Music can be the best thing ever but at the same time as that it can be truly heart breaking so I feel for you. I hope you’re able to use the time you have now to continue to grow in the other areas you mentioned you want to progress in. Best of luck to you!

I’m sorry to hear that man. But thank you for your Metal service! You are making the right call though! Hell Kiko left Megadeth for the same reason. Horns up man!🤘🤘🤘

I just discovered your videos today. I play guitar and live in Forest Hill in Summers County. I think we're into a lot of the same music. If you're interested in jamming/collaborating or just trade licks sometime, maybe we can email ideas things back and forth. Most of the bands I play in locally are country/blues or classic rock, but I'm a metal guy at heart. Best of luck to you. Let me know if you're interested.

Dude, you are a great guitarist man. Family and children come first though. Sorry to hear about the band, but you have the opportunity now to be a kick ass KZbin guitarist and to have a killer channel. You need a catchy opener to draw people to your channel. Use a little tech to make your channel unique to you and to pop ya know. The skill you already have so you're golden there. Make content that people want. I know stuff id like to see are lessons that are tabbed out with explanations from you as certain sections are being played. Gear reviews when you're able. When ever you get a new guitar, pickups, a new bridge etc, and eventually when your channel starts to grow, companies will start to send you stuff to review for them. Therory For Dummies. Thats something ive always wanted to learn. Maybe you can explain some of that stuff in the simplest ways that make sense to people. Last but not least.....gear maintenance and setups. All important info for every single guitar player. These are just some ideas for you to take into consideration. Thank you sir, and looking forward to you growing your channel!!
