I would guess custom u bolt cost about 150 each, so 300 material. Two man mechanic crew at about 100/hr each for half day 800 bucks. 1100 total?

@@H0mertax Yes it was $1,100. When I first saw the axle I was thinking it would be a 5k bill with a lot of down time. The S Cam wasn’t damaged like we first thought. I got lucky, glad I stopped right away

Ubolts probably ran around 100 or 200 bucks easily, but I do hope they tightened those with more than those electric impacts. I work at a shop that specializes in heavy suspension like that and make custom ubolts. But never use electric on ubolts. Always use air and for that size a 3/4 gun is needed.
