So since this episode was recorded, I've discovered that my chicken cooker design is actually extremely lossy 😖 In a test world (where I duplicated this design), I'd be lucky to get 1 cooked chicken per 10 chickens killed by the lava. It's a tad rubbish so I've since decided to replace the lava with a block so we get raw chicken we can cook ourselves instead... I guess we get XP from cooking the chicken as well that way though! 😃

Why don't you just simply smelt wood to get charcoal? It would be much easier, quicker and could be done in conjunction with many other farms like a moss farm which could yield azalea bushes which then yields enough saplings and you could smelt the wood for charcoal.

I made one in my world with a block rather than lava. Allows me to sell raw chicken to butchers. And there are better food options at that point. Edit: The redstone clock I used was 2 redstone torches and 4 dust.

That's odd, since the 'out and retract' kind of cooker works by setting them on fire, rather than leaving the lava in place (which can destroy items). That said, when you were in the Nether, you did have the chance to get enough quartz for some observers, you know. :-)

2 words for your fuel problems: lava farm. Get dripstone blocks and dripstone spikes pour lava above the blocks place the dripstone spikes (just 1 on each block) and place cauldrons bellow the spikes and lava will drip drop by drop into the cauldron and when it fills after like 20 or so minutes take it with a bucket

I'm really enjoying seeing the new update features. I wasn't really sure about how I felt about them (and honestly I'm still not), but I feel a lot better seeing them in normal gameplay. PYTHON i loved that series when you were flower pot king back then all of my builds were shaped of your l shaped houses also you should add a load of ships to your sea where the docks are to make it look like a fishers area but like kanoes and kayak maybe even big fishing boats

You could maybe build a giant Vikingship with white blue striped sail. It looks very cool infront of your coastline and also to use as an extra storage or whatever you want... I love your dock btw...

Hi python I think you should make an outdoor pen connected to the stables for the cows as it will look more natural because it’s a very small area for so many cows. Nice to see you uploading daily I hope this keeps up!

I stopped in to say it’s nice to see you putting videos out on Minecraft. For my two cents I’d much rather watch you pace yourself and not burn yourself out trying to do super huge projects. Python, you should build a kelp farm and furnace array. I like to use kelp blocks to smelt ores and cobble and save my coal for torches. Loving this season.

Might i suggest to hide the full cruelty on the chicken population? While that frontal window looks nice perhapse stuffing some haybales there to pretent its just a 'storedge' area for the food? That is if you are indeed not cooking them there, makes that lava->fire is no problem.

I quite like the idea of a “Through the ages” type of deal. Like starting with a more medieval style, then very slowly making the years progress to more modern times. Different districts with different building styles sounds like a great way to not get burned out. Obviously this is pretty unachievable but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there. Great series Python, always love seeing the progress :D

Hi python I think you should add a fisherman villiager into your dock area when it expands to add more of a dock feel. You could also mix in some unlit campfires to the bottom of your walkways on the dock. Keep it up 👍

You should make a kelp farm, make it create dried kelp and use that as fuel. Or a lava farm. Or bamboo. All good sources of fuel.

I'd have put in a donkey in the stables instead of using one side for cattle; I've just never really liked having the livestock noises right next to my house, and donkeys (and mules) can haul cargo for you~

That's a fair point! A donkey (and a mule for that matter) would both be nice to have... perhaps the cows can be moved elsewhere 😀 But that doesn't solve the issue of the chicken sounds I guess 😅
