what an incredibly polite and patient coach! I mean I personally am not all that surprised. despite the fact that he said it is his first time on fiverr and I believe him I don't think it's his first time teaching RL or at least teaching something in general. He must have noticed he has a sense for this and decided to share this and also make a small profit out of it. I understand that people can be motivated by other reasons such as thinking too highly of oneself I just think that bears less actual motivation than the will to help others and can only carry you so far. Most of those "pretentious teachers" people in the comments section expected would have gotten tired after one or two tries and moved on to something else. This is why I wasn't all that surprised that this teacher turned out to be worth it.

I sometimes teach Forged Alliance (an RTS), and I can feel that sometimes I'm flooding my pupil with information because, yeah there's so much to learn at first so it can be tough to hold back information. You did awesome in this video, what stood out to me is that you were patient with his deviously wrong statements, that too can be very tough. Most people might want to be very clear cut/opinionated on things with (obviously) the facts backing them up but that's not what's important here. What's important is keeping this burgeoning passion for the newfound video game alive in the pupil and I thought you were very keen to that as well! :)

EVERYONE can use a coach. C9 has a coach, G2 has a coach, even ALG has a coach. In fact, while it's necessary to have a deep understanding of the game in question, it's rare that really great players turn into good coaches historically speaking from other sports. I'm just about to break into gold on my own, any day now...I swear. If I was able to employ someone to coach me rather than playing with randos online, I'd probably be able to improve much quicker than I have been these first 300 hours.

I have never played this game and also have no idea why on earth youtube recommended this game to me. Having said that, I'm happy I watched this video. This coach seems like a fucking genuine guy. Super chill, has a very supportive vibe, and I think he's genuinely a great guy to learn from. I hope people watch this video and reach out to him.

I do the same sorta thing with all my friends that are new to Rocket League. I know a lot of people are discouraged when they lose so you have to find ways to make it fun and enjoyable while also still making it rewarding for the person trying to learn. I start off with simple stuff like controller layout and camera settings (stuff that took me a while to pick up on) and teach them little things here and there. You help them work their way up the ranks by showing them positioning and strategy (Sunless you are super helpful when it comes to this) and providing some tips and insight to the thought processes behind your actions. If you ask someone what they saw on that play you can get a better idea of how to tune their thinking correctly. Very simple stuff that I would recommend to anyone showing the game to someone new.
