I hit a very strange cornershot | My Hero Ultra Rumble

At the 00:27 second mark I hit Kirishima with a very strange cornershot. I aimed low, so my vines went down, but then they went backwards, right then forwards. I'm surprised they hit at all. Could have been a glitch, but I thought it as interesting.
