Pretty much every rule was showcased here for headliners on patch 14.1. I know it's expressed 500 times a day on youtube, but that addy is hittin. Target - Jazz Bard Headliner 4:48 - Buy-Sell Jazz MF Headliner Rolling past Jazz MF will lock out Jazz Headliners for 4 rolls. Locked out Headliners - MF and Bard. Buy-Sell required. 5:00 - Buy-Sell Dazzler Bard Headliner Rolling past this would lock out Dazzler Headliners 4 rolls. Locked out Headliners - Nami, Lux, Bard. Buy-Sell required. 5:11 - Rolling past EDM Lux Headliner. Although a Dazzler, because her headline trait is EDM, this still allows Dazzlers like Bard to show up with the Jazz trait. 6:54 - Rolling past Big Shot MF Headliner As stated with Lux, this does not lock out Jazz Bard, so there's no need to Buy-Sell here. 6:58 - Jazz Bard shows up. This occurs 2 rolls after skipping the Big Shot MF, as it did not lock Jazz out. He also owns 6 Bards at this point, showcasing the fact that 1-3 costs do not have a lockout on Headliners. Additional info: 4 Costs do have a lockout of owning more than 4 of the desired headliner unit. E.G. 2 star Cait on your board + 2 caits on your bench would lock you out from seeing her as a headliner. Sell 1 to find it, and buy-sell 8-Bit and Rapid-Fire headliners. 5 costs have a lockout of owning more than 3 of the desired headliner unit. E.G. 2 Star Illaoi on your board + 1 Illaoi on your bench would lock you out from seeing an Illaoi headliner. Sell 1 to find it, and buy-sell Bruiser headliners. ------------------- 14.2 will be changing headliner rules, expressed with clarity in Mortdog's post on r/CompetitiveTFT. TL;DR : Buy-sell will do nothing, and traits won't be locked out. However, skipping specifics champs will lock you out for 7/7/7/5/4 rolls depending on unit cost. (E.G. Skipping Dazzler Bard here would lock Bard out for 7 rolls, and only Bard.)

@@Turtlesp5000 I think in new patch buy-sell doesn't do anything for rolling anymore. The point to remove this knowledge check.

@Turtlesp5000 The post stated that buying and selling wouldn't do anything to Headliners at all. You would be locked out of seeing Bard for 7 shops. This is good because the average player doesn't know these rules, so they waste a ton of gold by locking themselves out on roll downs. The ones that do know about the buy-sell aren't wasting gold to manipulate RNG.
