This really makes me very sad. Halo mega was such an important aspect of my childhood. Remember when I first saw a mega spartan and quickly fell in love with mega. My first true set I own was the Fireteam Torus around 2015. It's so sad what happened with the Halo mega archives. All those years of work were lost. I really hope there's a light in this dark age.

This hits hard. I have been watching your videos for around 2 years now, my mother watched some of your videos with me and she liked it. Both sites were really important to me since in my country megabloks/construx wasn't there in any big stores anymore, only small ones that had like 1 location in the entire country. I remember staying up at night making a wanted list on the site and putting what I already have. It feels like anything Halo is slowly dissapearing recently. The Halo TV Show getting cancelled (I know alot of people didn't like or outright hate but I still liked it and my father did too), MCC getting no more updates besides bug fixes, Halo infinite getting less and less updates, almost no Halo books coming out this year. 2022 felt like such a golden year in everything Halo-related. I pray you and other people are able to rebuild the sites or atleast something similar.

Realistically, it’s probably the higher ups at mattel keeping them quiet about it. With the small group of people working on mega halo for so long I have no doubt that they would have shared a lot more information with us if they could

I've been buying halo mega construx sets since the infinite wave, things certainly could be done better. Less ideal sets are distributed widely, I believe the Universe line was a right call even if they went a bit too far with it IMO but once they got to the halo TV show it's become an issue. The other items in the catalogue should have been pushed as the only halo set that would sway me to buy duplicates is the banshee. I've switched to thrifting because distribution is so bad right now although I got a shadow convoy in that time so that's good, another thing is that from what I can see Pokemon is sitting on shelves more often than halo and it almost feels disrespectful when I see pokeballa on shelves all the time but can no longer find halo heroes or blind bags. Like it's basically the same thing just under a different brand and if plastic quantity is an issue then it's one I see a solution to it which is to not sell a bunch of sets to stores that sit to the point I bought a squirtle to clear space for Halo which doesn't even change much as halo mega construx is feeling really neglected considering the selection only gets smaller as the years go on.

Dude as a kid I loved this website. Every once in a while I still hop online to see the sets for a nostalgia hits and maybe if I see something exceptionally good pick it up in the store. This is a serious and sad situation. I have been collecting Halo Mega for 3 yrs and 1 month. The removal of the catalog is bad for multiple reasons; the deletion and complete flush of these items doesn't just make it harder even very hard to find certain items, as a buyer and seller of Mega on Mercari this also very bad because if I get certain sets to keep or buy I will look and search up what im missing, Simon also mentions in the vid say a kid looked up the arbiter and say he/she wants to collect different colored Energy Swords will make it harder to find. As a seller, like I said before It will make it uneasy to find different halo or any other mega products. If Halo Mega got canceled, it would be devastating to me because I grew up with Halo from the OG Xbox, as a Halo Veteran would hurt me. I agree with Simon that full deletion of an Archive of Halo Mega needs to be reversed, Im a serious collector of different items, and an archive is important for any reason. If Mega temporarily said that simon said for like a week/month/year would be very helpful, and even if they make an archive site, would have a lot of relief. Also, this is something I noticed Halo Mega doesn't seem to be dying, Halo Mega is the #1 stuff that sells on my page. Nice EVA set at the end. i did get one, maybe 2014, as a present, I still have it but not completed

Been following halo mega since 2009, from the first Scorpion tank set to the infinite sets we have. It's sad to see this brand be mismanaged as much as halo is. Though I'm not as passionate of a fan as many, I understand why there's so much grief here. Hope that the archive will come back, either as a community resource or an official remodel. Much love

Seeing what other people have said, I think it’s extremely important, now more than ever, for the community to work together to keep itself alive. Someone else said that now there’s no longer a way to get replacement parts, but that just means we are going to see people trading or buying/selling individually parts more now. We have to help each other, and if I have an extra of a piece that someone needs to complete their set, what do I have to lose by sending it to them? Thanks for the video👍

Hey domain i know this is random but what is the first halo game you played my first was Halo 3: ODST that made me love the ODST's i actually back in 2022 had the tan odsts fighting the brutes in the battle pack and i think i lost them or something but i now have the odst from the UNSC hornet reacon set and im planning to get more odsts. Think the way to do this is to focus on instructions. That is crucial for being able to build sets. And having simple pictures of blind bags, figure packs, and other small things. Having release dates, labels for where individual figures came from, and other little info is just too much. With how the Mega brand has been slowly dying the important thing is having a bare minimum instructions archive.

Again. Not only a serious topic, but sad. In this world this is what makes us stand out among everybody else on your tube. And now it’s on the verge of going away for good. Sounds liken expenses are being cut down for halo mega as shipments aren’t reaching stores and now these websites are going downs. Mega is amazing, but sadly, I can see why the recent introduction to 3d printing had made mega down sales. Think about it 1: they look amazing, 2: are betting in almost every way then mega figures, 3: allows people to make characters exactly as they want. Instead to wanting a brand to make it. We were blessed with a Cured when it comes 3D printing. Another factor is that kids now a day just aren’t interested in buying toys as much because of the age gap these toys are envolved in. Sadly most kids now just play games and stuff like that. Toys sales have decreased by millions globally because of his too. Toy r us closing is evidence. I do think mega is fine. I see Pokémon everywhere and see people buying them too. It’s just halo. And like stated before. The exact same thing happened to call of duty and destiny. Demand isn’t their from the public. The community is the only thing that’s keeping this brand afloat. Can’t even imagine what Simon is going through right now seeing everything he’s build crumble. I personally believe mega can revive itself but things sadly could turn for the worse. We must work together to help. Who knows we can help monitor things like the website (even if it comes back ) and marketing. We all believe in you Simon, keep you spirit up as we all are Doing too

Hey Simon from a data backup point of view, they should have backups of all the data, as it is kept, 30 days, 6months, 12 months and 5/7 years, in storage. They could potentially be able to get it back depending the backups and how they keep them, hope it helps. Cheers CB 👍🇦🇺
