Watching and listening to your videos, Noah, is a meditation. Thanks :)

@@charliebadger agreed. It’s a weekly thing for me that is basically meditation.

I think your dad is 100% correct on aging and that if you take care of your mind and body, you have a good shot at a long life with fewer diminished capabilities. I liked the photography focused topics in this show and I thoroughly enjoyed the LPV show. Did not realize/remember that your second episode was recorded on location. Finally, every time I see photos of the comet Neowise, I get nostalgic for the time in 2020 where it forced me to think beyond the various tragedies unfolding across the world. Hopefully we get some more Neowise type events over these next years…

This show confirms my long held theory that this is a Mr. Rogers/Sesame Street/Pee Wee Herman’s Play House like show for fucked up people, some of which like photography.

ooooo.... love this idea and +1. btw, pee wee wasn't f'd up enough for you? can't believe my hyper-conservative parents let me watch that as a kid, now that i can see all of the weird easter eggs with adult eyes. maybe they didn't get it either. anyway, an adult version of that, maybe focused on artists/creators more generally, would be super dope.

KZbin was so concerned about your comment that it asked me to explain it to it. It’s weird explaining stuff to a machine that will obviously never understand.

Today marks one year of this show, congratulations :D. And if you continue with this consistency of making a new episode every Sunday, according to my calculations you would reach episode number 100 on February 1, 2026.

Internet as a tool, not a destination. Like when we had to go to the “computer room” years ago, to print Mapquest directions, or check our email. Uploading our best work to platforms we don’t control has become much less fun these days.

Awesome episode as always Noah, thanks for the witty an insightful response/s. Never been much of a podcast listener though, but as 2025 my work life balance is shifting dramatically when I return to work in 2 days time, this might change; maybe...

Nice show, Noah. I wonder if your dad and Bernie Sanders grew up in the same neighborhood.
@NoahKalina22 сағат бұрын
Fairly close. Bernie grew up in Flatbush, my dad grew up in Bensonhurst. Both went to Brooklyn college but Bernie is a little older.
@timtrautmann22 сағат бұрын
that’s super close, relatively speaking. Anyway, their speech patterns and affect are so similar. We could have had that for four years in the White House and instead we got a shitbag from Queens.
