@TheHouseBowling My brother and I used to fool around on the lanes a while back. The most fun was bumper bowling. Sometimes we would go to lanes where there was a kid party and they would have forgotten to retract the bumpers. We would use 6lb balls and see how many bumpers we can touch and still get a strike. I can touch 2 bumpers and strike, but my brother was able to touch 3 bumpers and strike. Lots of spin and like 5mph. Fun times.

The entertainment value was definitely there, but from a player incentive standpoint I think it would be better if you got zero points for failing to strike. This would encourage everyone to at least get a "safe" strike, and then try to improve on it to move up the standings. With all the non-strikes getting to share a higher score, it was just a "highlight reel or bust" mentality. Perfect for a goofy KZbin video, but it doesn't really tell us who bowled better.
