I Hosted a Dinner Party! | My Life Vlog | Episode 13

Hey loves! I’m really excited to share with you a vlog from this weekend’s festivities! Last month we put a date on the calendar to have our friends Twyla & Terance over for dinner. And with that, Twyla requested that I make oxtail! So, I figured why not do a whole Jamaican spread! I made some curry shrimp and ordered cocktail patties to start. And made so FRESH rum punch for them to have upon arrival. I emphasize fresh because your girl actually squeezed oranges and limes by hand to make it. I also made sure the table was set, as always, to bring in some ambiance. And for dinner I whipped up oxtail, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and fried plantain. After dinner, we kept the party going and played some games. AND had a very terrible “jerk” dance off. Nights like these are my favorite and I’ll definitely cherish them. Good food, great company, and an even better bond. I hope you enjoy this video!
