The MACDOWN is my first Apex Legends Tournament that I've ever hosted. Between each round, 2 legends were permanently banned creating a very unique competitive experience! I invited 60 different content creators and pros to this tournament, and it was all streamed LIVE on my TWITCH: / macro

I actually agree, Newcastle walls don’t have much more health than a rampart walls but it feels like people don’t shoot out Newcastle walls for some reason. Rampart has more walls and it’s a tactical but people just seem to shoot them to get rid of them.

Damn what a great tournament. I didn't think the legend elimination concept gonna have that much of an effect on the team comp and stuff. The final round is just a chaotic battle with just rush-down characters which is so fun to watch. So sad i didn't get to watch this live. Plz do more if you can macro

i was thinking this was the highlights of the tournament and was like no way I'm watching two hours of this but just the concept of removing legends every game and the way you get to see the wheels rotating inside the player's head trying to adapt to every new situation is amazing. Great concept and great video, this has made me think that apex comp would be alot more exciting without the scan/valk meta, so much more focus on positioning, taking smart fights and making sneaky plays instead of unlimited scans and flying straight to centre zone within the first 10 seconds of landing 😂.

I think The Macdown Pt 2 should should continue with this 'legend elimination' style tournament. You should keep the remaining legends available from the 1st one, where 1 legend (instead of 2) gets eliminated after every game until there are 3 legends left for the final round

This was a really great idea I had a lot of fun watching this. Another idea for the future would maybe eliminate the 3 legends who won that game. I think that could result in some really intetesting games lol also if you wanted to keep it at only 2 eliminations per game you could have you chat vote to save a legend from elimination
