I do this for multiple pokes before like machop and beldum and others I didnt get either of those with at least 50 checks each. But I did get the shiny larvitar I grinded for. Just keep at it. You will get a shadow shiny one day

Brandon, shadow ursaluna is the BEST ground type attacker in the game right now. Only under primal groudon. Shadow ursaluna even with only tackle BEATS ground type mega swampert in both TDO and DPS. Imagine when ursaluna gets an actual good fast move holyy @mystic7

I'm a free to play player and I battled grunts and Cliff since the start of Larvitar on Cliff. Got a hundo shadow Larvitar a week ago or so. I purified a decent IVs shadow Larvitar when I came back to the game (2020) without knowing the importance of them (and got some 98 and a 100 Tyranitar) but that was so worth! And yeah I got myself a shiny shadow but with not so good IVs so nah, not powering it up...
