I'm not familiar enough with XY to know how widespread this was, but I really dig the expanded art versions of regular cards. Putting something cool in the regular slots is really neat, gives them a nice aesthetic.

Here's an idea for an opening. You have to guess if it's a good or bad booster before opening the booster. Bad means under $2 and good means over $2. Every time you guess correctly you get a point. You have to get a certain score to keep all the cards you pulled. If not then you have to donate it to the community. :3
