I'm not a therian, so idk why KZbin gave me this video, but I find this interesting. Seeing as "magic" is basically just the unknown, psychology is the greatest magic of all. I think it would be worthwhile if psychologists studied therians and their experiences. In general, I feel like more psychological research would lead to increased accommodations and less hate for those with more obscure conditions. Like, someone in my Discord server gets called names for doing quads in public, and I feel like that would be reduced if it wasn't just seen as them being ✨quirky✨

Yea I’m still confused about that to Ik what it is now so if you can search up the 7 auras and when you know that then you will understand this part. It’s basically when your 7 aura layers take form as your theriotype although some believe it’s always like that. I’ll name them for you actually. So there is etheric layer, emotional layer, mental layer, astral layer, etheric template, celestial layer and the spiritual layer

I wanna dream shift so bad. Just being able to be an ant or a crow or a bat or any of my theriotypes… it would be the most wonderful feeling… I really enjoy mental shifts, they’re so relaxing because I get to pounce around with no human thoughts like anxiety and wanting to be accepted, just being a goofy animal.

shifts don’t make you a therian, sorry but that’s not how it works. a therian is someone who identifies as an animal mentally/psychologically/sprirtually based off of animalistic behaviours/thoughts/feelings. shifts don’t make you a therian, it can be a part of your therianthropy though.

Hello!! So ive been having these shifts.. they are partial shifts (what i call them) and its like a mental shift but you still can have human thoughts but you still partially in a shift. You can understand everything like a human but most of the time in these shifts you cant talk. I can try to explain more if anyone wants me to. :)

You can't become a Therian or be a Therian for a few months, Therians are born as one so you'd be a Therian since birth, unless you mean when you found out you were a Therian, that would be awakened 3 months and 26 days ago, apologies if you aren't a fake and just didn't know, I suggest you use awaken otherwide people would accuse you of being fake

I've felt phantom shift all my life. I didn't know about the existence of therians. For 2 months I experienced sensory shift, aura shift, mental shift. I love this feeling, during it I feel like myself Edit: last night I dreamed that I was a fox. It was the best dream of my life... Now I also experienced dream shift :3

I don’t know what shift this is, but I have this kind of distant memory of being a cat, here’s the best way I can explain it: I was a white cat, average sized. I was walking through a large field of green grass all alone, and it was really peaceful. At the end of the field was a road, and past the road was a forest. I was walking towards the road, I think I might have gotten hit by a car while trying to get to the forest on the other side. Also, im not sure if this was a memory, it could have been a dream, but I don’t even know where it came from, I just have it in the back of my head.

Also another shift I have had is a eye seeing shift were you see yourself with animal features or see your theriotype triggered by nature, (such as when I was with family I went outside and heared birds and saw my cat theriotype for a quick second)

You forgot one! Feral shifting! Feral shifting is a mental shift except you cannot control yourself. Some people even view it as a mental illness 😢 I got a feral shift once and it was scary

That is definetly a phantom paw shift! You could have been feeling the sensation of running, feeling claws, and maybe some pain from the ground scratching your pawpads. It is also possible that this is from something completely diffrent, for example, you were focusing on the video so your brain triggerd this. Remember, triggering a shift does not make you a therian, as therianthropy is involuntary, but if this was out of the blue while scrolling, there's a chance you could be a therian or alterhuman. Hope this helps!

@@alicepeacock5600 thanks! I was researching that day but it was the first occurrence of that feeling, it started at around a forest and pond type area. The animal type occurrences are canine related. I only have 3 ive noticed though. when i get scared im like shaking and whimpering like a dog, i kind of act really mad at one second then sad and forgiving like a dog, and sometimes i just get the urge to to quads or bark. the barking one doesnt happen to often, but the rest do.

I am a fox trapped in a man. When I get down on all fours, I feel happy. And I often feel a shift just then. When I feel emotions, my phantom fox ears behave as they would, if that were considered behavior. I've said everything I can explain... My friend and I just always felt like we weren’t human. Sometimes we even whined like animals, growled when we were angry. Did you have something like that?
