Wood is renewable resource can be managed in sustainable manner, iron during mining and processing will lead to more trees being cut and land will also be ruined. You have to use recycled steel created with mini mill to claim eco friendly. We don't have that option. Opt for steel since it's cheap. But there is no eco friendly benefit we only damage more

Wooden door will not transfer heat from outer to inner area.. AC will take more current for iron door rooms.because iron door will transfer inside cooling to outer area. Iron will get rusted.wooden will not rust. iron door will be advisable for godown room only not for living room. pls. think this points before using iron door
