The doryaki looks like the one behind you in your glass cabinet. Just gorgous!!!❤

yeah they're both anthuriums, just different types so they have different leaf shapes

I wouldn't mind another acclimation video especially on what to do to save them. I recently imported from Aroid Asia and they in the mail for over 2 weeks. (Not A.A. fault). My monstera albo roots were gray and moldy. It was at that point I knew I didn't know what I was doing and should not have imported expensive plants 😢😂😭. I also got an alocasia which looked perfect. Perfect roots perfect leaves... About a week after getting it I pressed the corm and it was mush. It was a very large corm so I cut off the mushy section having no idea if I was doing the right thing. The next day all the roots and the leaf fell off 😮. 🤷♀️

Oh no! Sounds like a right stress! Acclimation and 1 month updates video is going up Sunday! Keep an eye out!
@sherryporsch9349 Жыл бұрын
Imo cut off any rot in your Albo an put the stem an roots in peroxide / water to soak for about 5 mins. I usually mix 1/3rd water an 1 part peroxide. Take it out an let it air dry, couple of hours an pot it in Moss or chunky soil mix. Hope I’m stepping on Emma’s toes but it could be bad shape by Sunday. Good luck 💚

The imports are all beautiful but that Regale in the cabinet is stealing the show! I hope some day when I go further into Anthurium I have leaves that size.

haha yeah it tends to do that! I did buy mine quite mature though 🤷♀️

I got a holtonianum in a rescue box recently. Have you seen how the leaves look when the plant has matured? Not one I'd chose myself but im still really looking forward to seeing it grow and the leaf shape changing!

@@CJ.Calabritto I've had 2, one from growtropicals and the other from the rare plant shop, both in the uk. I've had really good experiences from both, a few wishlist plants and others I'd not have considered but love. The boxes sell out fast though when they're available.

If you google the moodianum it will change your mind, it's a dark boi. I can't believe the size of the Doryaki leaves, I knew they got big, but that's huuuuge already. And you got my dream plant, the Tesla plant aka the Holtonianum, you are going to love that when the leaves mature. Great haul, I definitely can't wait for updates on all of them. Good luck growing.

I'll happily send you a cutting of the holtonianum once mines more established! They are so cool!

Awww, bless you, Emma. That's so sweet, but my gut instinct told me to go have a look at Grow Tropicals, and there was an imperfect one for sale, so I snapped it right up. I don't care that it's only one leaf with a bit of damage, that plant was mine to rescue 🤣🤣🤣

A have a holtonianum. A rooted cutting that took a couple of months (over the winter) to get it's first leaves but it is growing pretty fast now. Love it

Hey, hope you're doing well!!! 🪴 *I cannot wait for the acclimation video!!!* 💚💚💚 Also, I've heard that when they inspect your boxes it opens it to the air in that area and that's kinda what can start the damage process...but what can you do by that point anyways? Lol.😂 Anyways, as always, love your videos!!! Have a lovely dayyy 💚🪴🌵

Hi Emma! Seeing some of those more damaged leaves I was thinking...I wonder if she will try and turn them into skeleton leaves... I love the Macrophylla! I'm not totally into Hoya's but that is one I would get, the leaves are just so thick and gorgeous!

you know that would have been a good idea! but they ended up in the bin 😅

This is a warning regarding Root Greenhaus in Indonesia. I saw several KZbin videos of successful imports as well as some very unsuccessful imports. But they had some plants I've been unable to source in the US, so I went ahead and ordered the plants. 44 days later I still hadn’t received my order and all they've offered is excuse after excuse after excuse. They definitely treat KZbinrs differently than regular people. I filed a PayPal dispute on day 44 (in case you didn’t know, you can only file a dispute within 45 days of purchase). Within 4 hours of filing the dispute, they sent me a notification that the shipping label had been created. They then proceeded to tell me that they would not send the shipment unless I canceled my dispute. They stated that they’d been “scammed a lot by your kind of consumers, opened a PayPal case and forced us to ship the package, then took your money back and got the perfect plant package”. My kind of consumer? Someone who doesn’t want to be ripped off for a very significant amount of money? (I ordered 34 plants!). Anyone who has been through the PayPal claims process knows that’s not how it works. Getting your money back for a purchase that was never shipped is very easy. Getting your money back from a package that was delivered requires proof that what was delivered wasn’t what was purchased. Having been through the process once, it’s not something I’d want to go through again. This tells me that the people who filed claims and were actually refunded by PayPal received plants that had to be mush. Otherwise, PayPal wouldn’t have refunded their money. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this business. The amount of frustration they've caused, the lack of communication, and the unfulfilled promises are not worth the risk. Buyer Beware. If you have had successful imports I'd appreciate knowing who is trustworthy. I've had good success with both Ecuagenera and Tropicals. Are there any others that have sent healthy (or at least rehabable) plants in a reasonable amount of time? Recommendations are appreciated.
