I have had a Whipple on my 2021 ltz 6.2 with a btr cam, and water methanol. 704rwhp and no issue for 2 years. Best supercharger on the market 👌

standard operating procedure working on my Denali hd.... remove front wheels and lower. So much easier in the engine bay

Just did a Whipple 2.3 on my 2011 2500 it’s a pain for sure. Instructions are far from accurate to say the least. When put blower on top it’s do dam heavy I rolled the o ring and had to buy a couple more. New one coming Monday so will try install again. I feel your pain. I took hood off was a bit better to work.

Lol the plastic bag and marker thing is so true. I think it's worse when a bolt that didn't come off the project makes its way on the table. I'll spend an hour trying to figure out where it goes, just to realize it doesn't go anywhere

In HPTuners I discovered a TCC Apply Ramp table had different Torque and Slip RPM table values than a compare file. I'm not talking about the cells, but the table itself. e.g. one table goes from -74 to 516 in the columns, and -50 to 800 (Slip RPM Error) for the rows. While the compare file goes from 738 to 4,425 and -60 to 1,500 respectively. Is this from a different Operating system? the -74 to 516 makes sense, the 738 - 4,425 on the other hand looks messed up, like it shouldn't be that way. (Who is making 4,425 ft lbs of TQ)

I’m curious to know why a Whipple also ? I’m still debating between Whipple & 2650 Maggie. I mean sure the Maggie will make more power and it’s more efficient than older roots blowers. But surely there is still some advantages for a twin screw like colder intake temps & blower efficiency ? I dunno what’s the 411 on real facts not just what someone said to someone’s buddy or what someone read somewhere?

I’m pretty sure they are still more efficient but I don’t know that there is any real benefit of one over the other now days.

GM half ton truck trans max out at just under 700 lbs of torque at the crank. So probably too high.

I put the Gen5 Whipple Stg2 on my 22GT by myself and it was a breeze! I’d rather do the Whipple kit twice than headers again lol, the problem here was not the Whipple it was the design and installer somewhat lol

Incomplete and very little direction on whipples instructions swayed me to the Magnuson 2650 on my 2023.. and it looks a lot better lol

Also pro tip: use green coolant in the supercharger in case there is a leak you know where it’s coming from and don’t get confused.

I put a whipple in My 2011 Sierra 1500 5.3. Put that bitch on E85 and she made 500 rwhp on a Hub Dyno with 100% stock internals including stock Cam.
