I installed an Ilmberger Carbon rear tail section on my BMW M1000R Competition!!!

so if you use 3M adhesive tape, you can remove the blue key cover off the original (use heat gun or hair dryer) and place it on the carbon fiber one with new 3M adhesive, that's what I did and it looks great

Wow! Mine broke in the same place just carefully tying to remove it. That tiny lug at the back edge just isn't up to the job.

Yeah I am not sure how careful I/we need to be in order to safely remove the back panels? lol

Why'd you choose the R? Interesting bike!

I chose the R because I wanted a BMW bike but didn't want the RR because just about everyone where I live has one so I wanted something else. And I wanted something to compare to my Streetfighter V4S.

I’d choose the M1000r as well, the best bike on the market, what a bike!!
