Yeah I bought a pixel purely for the open software experience, I was considering oneplus but building custom roms for pixels is a bit easier

I hope for you that you didnt wiped efs directory, i completely screwed a samsung for this. Once wiped if you don't have a backup it's the end for your phone

Hey, it's not something that happens all the time, but if it does, it just does. Don't stress too much-just use the phone normally, and it should be fine. If you're really worried, you should get an extended warranty for peace of mind. But honestly, as long as you're not throwing your phone around, you should be good. And as far as I remember, it was mostly OnePlus phones that had the green line issues after software updates. Haven't really heard much about Samsung facing the same, except for the whole Note 7, uhm uhm, fire situation.

I dont think that is possible as the snapdragon model's bootloader cannot be unlocked.
