Thank you for the linux question! we are a small few and don't have a big voice in the community, linux support has actually been pretty good for season 3. Just hope they stick to server-side anti-cheat so we can keep supporting the game 🙏. Can't wait for season 4!

linux is supported through proton, a translation layer that is maintained by valve, so them asking for linux support doesnt rlly need to happen and would be rlly hard to maintain with all of the distros, valves proton team maintains the game so that if it breaks its on them to fix it not linux users or embark iv been playing the game eversince they enabled the anticheat to work for proton (i have 800 hours now) and i reached emerald 1 160 leaderboard :) embark are one of the goats for allowing proton to work with EAC on their game unlike other studios like r6, destiny 2, spectre divide, gtav online, that block it even tho they can support it through proton Great video tho :)

quality of the content is good, i think you can make a couple tweaks here and there to improve it. Like a little back ground musique during intros and when you're face cam. I absolutely hate the seeded ranked system. It makes no sense. It was already obvious that's what they were doing and it sucked. Being transparent about it doesn't make it make sense. The whole point of RANKED is you get placed with people at/near your RANK and if you're beating them then you climb to a higher RANK. All this does is punish people (especially solo que) for playing well with less points for doing more and harder lobbies and give people who don't play well an easier ride with more points for not doing as well. I can not see the logic in that. The most efficient way to rank up at that point would be to just throw in the first round or do the absolute bare minimum and then throw in the second. I'm super hype about season 4 in general but I was also hype to get back into cash out ranked and hearing they're still using the seeded system and showing ranks (which caused avoidance/extra third partying issues) puts a huge damper on it for me.

Great video! What I have liked about emerald rank, which I think was worse in previous seasons, is the rankpoints count. As M support, doesn't my role naturally become to do objectives that make my scores worse? But a win as a team felt better.

I don’t think personal performance matters to get emerald, but im pretty sure your support score is also counted in ranked.
