I Invented a Minecraft Mod to Take Over an SMP

This Minecraft SMP is full of modders some make custom weapons for pvp, some create airships and some learned to revive wardens with a Minecraft mod. So I took over the Content SMP by inventing a new mod called Elysium.

@@tatashie as far I know most of the mods are going to stay private until the end of the server and then who ever wants to release there mods can do so Sorry that I don’t have a very good answer

@@Cruciblecoder Unfortunately, it's often like you said. I can probably even understand why this is so, because it's one thing to make a mod for a server like this, but it's quite another to make it open access where it will need to be maintained and updated (as many may think). However, is the author so obliged to do that? I don't think so, at least as it seems to me, a mod in the public domain without support is still better than letting it die with the server. Your reply is still the answer, thank you.

It Was Amazing!, i love when people create concepts of tech being used in weapons, the Fireflawer could use diferents fire types; like Pulse orbs, Which does low damage at a exchange for push gravity, electricity to become a portable tesla, and lead bullets which make it a shotgun!, i loved the mechanic pulse

@@diansu4403build a huge tower out of electric shock blocks repulsers and mabie a new block you wanna add to your mod in spawn to completely dominate it on top of that mountain as a steampunk like build Along with hundreds of shock traps in the roads that you can activate that are ignored because of escalator blocks to run faster or just stand still to Get to destinations Also mabie similar to the rat minions for pvp you could have mini golems considering your style is steampunk like empire my suggestion would fit your style I think Also electricity bombs that grant the effect stun would be badass

That was amazing!! I love the story that's being crafted; and the foreshadowing and suspense is top-notch. The mod looks incredible (and maybe if you want to you could do an add-on and make the Elysium (tesla) coils do some IRL tesla coil things like music?? it'd be pretty cool ngl).

@@diansu4403 I think my favorite, aside from the mod itself (which is just- gorgeous), is how spider-webby it's all getting. All these little interactions and plays that don't seem to have much consequences are like cracks in a larger something, and the cracks are starting to connect. Winsweep pushed for power with the masquerade, which alienated Lux, pushing her towards Rat, which caused tension between her and Nox, which you and Win pushed further, which is making everybody choose harder sides; and it's all very machination-y and incredibly enjoyable to see play out. Thank you all for the wonderful work, both with modding and storytelling!

​@clwrk8854 Indeed, got to respect the balance of the modded items of the server. Their balanced well around late game minecraft PVP, with a focus on mechanics. Honestly, the armor itself is cloest thing to truly OP armor I've seen due to the shock effect However, it's balanced well, it needs to charge up *(pun intended)*, requiring to take a bruising or get setup time to charge up at tesla. Alpngside that seems to be short duration, and only activating with melee attacks, and given our favorite old fashion PC man didn't make a custom melee weapon and instead a ranged one, I think it's quite balanced. Compared to other members, they all have custom weapons which deal high damage with good recharge time, and less mechanical conplexity compared to the kit made by Diansu The custom weapons Diansu are more mechanically challenging to pull off, but can pop of in powerful bursts of both ranged and melee damage

this was awesome. the mod was great, and so was the concept of the metal being an endgame alloy and making cool armor, as well as a really interesting mechanics with the static electricity/charge that works both on defense with charging allies and on offense with the coils. all in all, cool concept with great execution and an even better video :)

Even after a month this is still by far my favorite video, everything from the animation to the mod to the wording he uses, This isnt just a mod video, this is a work of art. The rewatch ability is insane, and i love it. The quote of "hm, die" during the battle made it so much more enjoyable. you could make the prisims be used to make a weapon that fires the death laser beam, using redstone lamps as the power source would consume redstone but using a beacon would consume iron gold diamond and emerald ( iron lasting the shortest and emerald the longest), of course it would be too powerful if it shot at the same power

Elysium Armor upgraded at a smithing bench with tesla coils, would probably allow someone to slowly build up their own charge a bit quicker, and to possibly acquire the ability to have a Tesla Rifle, if allowed, that is.
