Adding Poison Dart Frogs to Minecraft and Weaponizing them. Minecraft 1.19 the Wild Update is gonna introduce the deep dark, Warden, but more importantly, frogs and a revamped swamp biome! But what about jungles? Wouldn't it be fun if they had poison dart frogs, that you could then use as weapons? I asked myself the question and as usual decided to make a funny and hilarious Minecraft mod.

The numbness effect could be used as a CRAZY last stand tool. Imagine you’re in pvp on 1 heart and you lick this, manage to barely kill the enemies before the 20 seconds end, and then drop dead from the numbness wearing off. That would be really intense and cool.

The frog on your head should give the effect to other players if they use their hand/swords to hurt you, but can only withstand the same amount of hits if it were on the ground

You can give it to them by using your hand, or charging a bow for 3 secs for the venom to drip onto the arrow. It shouldn't be if they dmge you

There is one funny detail I noticed by accident due to someone timestamping the dart minigun is that the darts when you hit a player with it, instead of a dart appearing on them, it an arrow, guess rat forgot to render the code for it

I think we should be able to use the drops of these frogs to make special poisonous potions that could be corrupted into becoming very powerful buff bottles. Also, tipped darts should be stackable the same way you stack tipped arrows. Speaking of arrows, why do the darts look like arrows when they pricked into someone?

The numbness effect is very useful to tank infinite damage with a single totem of undying, just like, lick the frog, tank the damage and then you hold a totem when the effect runs out and have sucessfully survived the backlash!

numbness could actually be useful, like if you and someone were to have a quick 1v1, if you were quick then you could win as you would take no damage until the effect wears off

this has so much potential in the future game like just imaging these effects in a PVP match or survival multiplayer..you can literally prank people but this is a bit overpowered so I recommend instead of 64 stacks make it 16 so, Mojang should ... must add these.

honestly numbness would fit more if you still took damage, but weren’t able to see your HP, similar to the wither effect except there’s no way to tell your HP other than calculating it from how much you’ve been hurt. and imo the comatose effect would work better if you could be moved by others but couldn’t move yourself. (and be able to at the very least open the menu and chat) and possible open your inventory but not be able to sort your items. other than that, i really like how vanilla the mod feels!

I absolutely love the concept. If this was in pvp people will make such interesting combinations. Torpor and Poison(From frogs) Comatose and End Crystals Stimulation and Regeneration and one bowl of the green frog is enough to resupply the effect constantly. And even if it doesn't work then you have 20 seconds of invincibility to take down your opponent. It will help in a "Whoever dies first" Situation. And I want to suggest something. Maybe a new crafting recipe of 2 bamboo and a string in the middle. This makes a blow pipe which helps you shoot the darts. And it has recharge time like the bow.

make it so the tipped darts can stack just for the heck of it, and maybe make it so that if you have either a frog bowl or darts in your offhand you can shift right click with the other to apply the frog poison to it that way

I have a request What if when you throw a normal Dart, but have a frog on your other hand it becomes a poisoned Dart of that type? That way you can Carry more poison darts but to use them consecutively you have to not use anything else at the same time

I love this, but here’s an idea! Since a body can get used to poison and become somewhat immune to it, why not make it so that after being affected with the same poisons continuously, the effect takes less time to run out? (That way pvp won’t become a perma-torpor-dart-palooza)

I think the poisons are a bit too op with the fact that you can't cure yourself with anything maybe at least reconsidering the feature that you can't remove the poisons with commands because that would be at least convenient and also the coma effect maybe at least you could make it so that you can still open the menu so yeah.

Maybe check on the golden apple when it gives you the golden hearts, if you’re down 3 hearts and you eat the golden apple and you have Torpor (I spelled that wrong I think) does the game still think it regents the unregenable heart or no? Idk how many hearts a normal golden apple restores, just a thought. ALSO THE SWIMMING ANIMATION IS SO CUTEEEEE
