It is worth noting that using a detergent cleaner on a waffle plate is never recommended kzbin.infoUgkxUfphIgghPSpAXNq6OG2WRYsFVqylcqMn though people who don't understand about kitchen hygiene won't understand that a stiff brush is all that is necessary to clean the inside of the unit. Let it cool slightly but still perform the cleaning while it's warm. I used to have a Black and Decker unit that I just loved, and was concerned when we had to replace it that I might not find one that I like just as much. This one does it for me.

I'd like to try this with a cast iron waffle iron that can be raised to higher temperature (like on a fire or grill). I suspect that will give you more of the burned/caramelized bits on the steak itself. Also, less cook time should result in more juice and possibly a pink center :)

The one beneficial part is that the waffle iron pattern helps cook the burger quicker while also keeping it somewhat thick and gives it sauce pockets. So it's not just a waffle shaped burger, it does have some added benefits.

I would try this but do a really rough grind on the meat so it’s not ground beef consistency. More like a beef tartare texture so the when you make a ball with the meat, it won’t hold together. This way, it will have a little bit more “bite” to it when you’re chewing. Now, I just need to get a second waffle iron. 😆😆

Lol. Nice. It’s kind of like waffle meatloaf, that’s a great idea. I’ll admit it, I love steaks grilling and ribs and everything else but sometimes a good hamburger just hits the spot and almost can’t be beat, this gives it a huge twist and a thing I love about it is now you’re going to have all those little squares. The hardest thing about a hamburger is to keep the onions add peppers and everything on there, that’s perfect and I can meatloaf you could put a bunch of jalapeños or onions in there you could even grill stuff on the top like asparagus or spring onions and be all fancy but that gives you a lot of surface area and Great texture, and let’s not forget about bacon. Because.... Bacon!!! that’s a brilliant idea. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 What’s next? Veal Parmesan chicken Parmesan, just think about all of those Mediterranean meats and Greek meats with all the spices mixed in, that’s a fast way to do a Gyro or some Mediterranean mixture with the lamb or goat any kind of meat like koobideh or kaftas. You can also use meats they don’t have fat in them like a rabbit or very lean cuts and mix those with a sausage or fat to make them better. Even Mexican with all the citrus and pineapple the Al Pastore and Carnitas, with a strong flavored skirt steak meats. This could be the new taco this could replace the hamburger. You should call a patent lawyer right away. This could be the future, you could have restaurants all over the planet and these are Meats you could make an a factory and freeze and ship out you could sell them in kits in stores and brand your own waffle iron. This could be carnival food and they could easily make on catering trucks or mobile carts even. It’s a fun winter idea but this could be huge. 🤔 people may look back hundreds of years from now and see this as a pinnacle moment in history. 🙌🏼 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 OK that was probably a bit dramatic but it wasn’t completely kidding either. People love something fast and easy and something good, this is something anybody could make and being that you’re grinding the meat you could make almost any combination you wanted and freezing it and selling it in stores would be very simple for a manufacturer. You could be the next Emeril or Julia child. When you’re raking in those millions don’t forget me though. 😜

next time avoid the bread crumb and it'll basically just be a smash burger but with way more surface area/crispy bits. Then you can use a cheese sauce instead of sliced cheese for extra extra cheesy factor since it'll just be contained in the waffle holes instead of leaking out!

First off real nice... A burger waffle. I wish I could do this but my Waffle iron is vertical... so Manny added challenges and the mess... Here are a couple added Ideas. 1) do a breakfast sausage mix and then use reg Walffes as the bread to make a sandwich or you do an all protein and waffle two sausages for the bread and do eggs and bacon inside. 2) a riff on chicken and waffles make the chicken into waffles and then deep fry them in batter and then use one reg waffle inside and the chicken as the bread... But I will say like other viewers we want to see the whole steak shoved into the waffle maker and cooked... lol Keep these vids going...

If you think the weater up north is bad, you should live in the South. I moved up north from the South, where I spent 30 years of my life. SO, SO, SO glad I moved! The weather up north is cold. After spending 30 years sweating and going through heat prostration, unable to work outside because of the heat, all my energy drained from my body by the heat, I can tell you that the weather up North is great! Freezing weather outside and nice and warm (not hot) inside. Lots of snow activity too! Skiing, cross country, snowmobiling, sledding, etc. Lots of fun and NO HELLISH HEAT! Now I now why H#LL is to be avoided.
