Sadly money is more important. The area I'm from and live in is all being bulldozed so investors can build rental properties. I've been watching and trying to help the endangered species my entire life with my family and neighbors. I've reported all nests to the state funded conservationists but they're not doing anything to relocate or help the animals. I believe they're getting money from investors because back in the day people would be arrested just for touching these animals or mistakingly harming them. All of the sudden investors are allowed to completely destroy their habitats and kill them in the process, it doesn't make sense.

Sadly their habitats get smaller and smaller every year. Rainforests burning down and entire undiscovered species being wiped out with it. Same with our oceans becoming acidic, just a bad time all around for nature.

Honeymooned for this trip. I did the same one. Safari in the Maasai Mara and visiting the sheldrick wildlife trust. Visiting the Maasai village. Such an amazing experience. I had a baby elephant step on my foot at the orphanage 😂 if you ever get the chance to take this trip 10/10 recommend we did a 7 day itinerary trip
