"Engr Akinajo announced this weekend that Blue Line train riders will now travel between Marina and Mile 2 in just about 18 minutes from the previous travel time of 25 minutes. According to her, the implication is that there would be a train every 18 minutes both ways, thus allowing commuters to plan their trips. Lagos increases Blue Line trips to 72 per day, implements 25% discount." This is good news!

ohhhh i see, the chinese are still here doing the actual maintenance as per the contract. we'll judge or start counting down once they leave, then we can truly know whether or not the maintenance culture is improving. good work as always

Nice video thanks. How many times in 1 hour do the trains run from the stations? In most developed countries the trains in big cities run every 15 minutes during peak hours.
@Justozed2 ай бұрын
@@alex3walexband3w19 from 13th August trains will be available at the station every 18min except on Sundays
@lawrencewei3583Ай бұрын
actually in most or at least many developed countries they run less than every 5 minutes during peak, 15 sounds more like an off peak frequency

Okada! 😂 Lagos cannot seem to rid itself of Okada (nor ramshackle Danfo)… Meanwhile, good that facilities being properly maintained thus far. Let’s see what it looks like when the Chinese leave or in 5-10 years. Good start tho.

@@chiefs5822 why? Are you an Okada man? Or a Danfo Agbero…er, conductor?! 😅 PS: Nothing wrong with HONEST labor, but those DEATHTRAPS just don’t belong in a modern city.

Igbos should go to their states and develop them. Hardly you will see Yorubas in Igbo states. The truth is that Igbos make money in Lagos state more than any other states in Nigeria. The igbos plan to take Lagos from the Yorubas. Igbos should just go. Regional system of government is the best for our nation. Period!
