What if she just doesn't want to? It might bring her bad press if she were to come out and reject him. The best way to handle this (from her and her PR teams perspective) is to avoid and ignore him. That's what most women in general do to stay safe when they're not interested anyway. This is crossing so many boundaries, but everyone is fine with it because Olivia isn't a person to them. She's a celebrity. She's aware he exists and wants to take her to "prom". It's not about communicating with her anymore. It's about pushing and pushing until he gets what he wants now, her wishes be damned. It's possible that she just didn't get his message, but at this point, it's abundantly clear that she does not want to be contacted by him. "Putting in work", would mean respecting her boundaries and leaving her alone. She's aware he exists and that he wants to go to prom with her. The ball is in her court. If she's "playing hard to get" she's got some things she needs to work on personally, because that's not how you build a healthy relationship with someone or indicate to them that you're interested in going to prom with them. The likelihood that she's playing hard to get is so minutely small I don't know why I brought it up, other than to hopefully shed some light on how silly it is to think that she's interested in going to the prom with him in any way. It's not okay to stalk and harass her just because she's famous.
