Exactly! A good fitness program and deduction can help you get there. Also a good fitness watch can help you monitor your body and fitness levels safely so that you don't overtrain.

When I took my last annual Marine physical fitness test (PFT) many years ago, there were 3 exercises: a 3-mile run, crunches, and pull-ups. Now, the Marine PFT has been revamped into a PFT and CFT consisting of 10 total exercises conducted every year. Thus, things have definitely changed and I need to add a few of these exercises to my weekly routine. As a veteran of the US Marines, this was an absolutely fantastic video and you achieved a great ACFT score. Please do keep the videos coming and thanks so much for sharing. Bravo!!!!

@15:20 hit home so hard. Always confident in your ability, yet it’s still both the last (meaning you have to ensure you score well and give it your best) & an additional event (meaning this is going be hell after everything). I was a consistent 590s guy. That 2mile run always got me.

Daegu is a hell hole in the summer. Lived there for nearly a year. It's in the middle of a valley and gets no breeze. And, it's humid. Extremely humid. Thought I was going to die. Unless it changed from the mid-2010s, don't expect anyone to speak English either. Even through the US has a military base, it's a very local city. Not really anything to do from a tourist standpoint.

The guy in the EST isn't well versed. She is left eye dominated. Which means she should shoot left-handed (with rifles, pistols don't matter). Otherwise, your left eye will continue to fight you to look down the sights.

Becoming a soldier seems difficult and challenging. There may be tough trials, but overcoming them would bring immense satisfaction. Currently serving soldiers are incredibly admirable and respectable. In videos, there are challenging trainings, and I wonder if I could handle them well. However, watching the enthusiasm of the soldiers makes it seem interesting and enjoyable. 10202

We could do the PT test they had when I was in with a hangover and still pass. I don't think this one can be done with a hangover and still pass.
@itzvictoryy38669 ай бұрын
You definitely can as long as youre in decent shape. The passing standard is pretty low but the maxing standard is high and a lot of units want a high score. But passing the 2 mile run is like a 23 minute 2 mile. Sprint drag for guys is like 1:58(most likely to fail you if hungover). And you only have to be able to do like 15 pushups. Maxing it is damn hard though, and whoever said a 3:40 plank was reasonable has never done a 3:40 plank.

If the Humvee test was actually like that it was WAY too vanilla. Would be more reasonable if "we're not going to tell you how much we're going to roll you, in which direction, or when it's going to start or stop (multiple roll overs) and it could stop and start again or go in a different direction". That would be more like being in a difficult situation, if you get hit by more than one thing at a time, eg you roll over while trying to evade or in pursuit when you're also hit by a RPG.

Im in South Korea. I’ll be honest I don’t like being here. Yea it’s cool to be somewhere I’d never be in my entire life without the Army but it hurts me mentally being thousands of miles away from literally everything I’ve ever known. Away from family for years at a time and not being able to talk to anyone outside of the base starts to really depress you. It’s probably just me I don’t know. I can’t even get a car here.

My daughter’s (US ARMY) first duty station was Camp Humphrey’s South Korea. When at basic training - Fort Jackson - the Army screwed up her glasses… Taking her’s and not getting a prescription pair back to her. So when she fired to qualify on the M4, she couldn’t clearly see…. But she still qualified.
