@@Whatareyoudoinnhere I think you're right, but they're still supposed to be similar... First of all, many of the characteristics of the 4-6-2 wheel arrangement are fairly universal. Secondly both classes were developmentally related, while the A3 may be the more advanced of the two, it should in theory be an extremely close race as the two locomotives are so closely related.

@@trainknut you’re right. However, the two engines were made by different developers and as such the code/scripting of the engines are different. Also, you have to take into account that Gordon is made exclusively for TRS19 and Flying Scotsman was built to work with T:ANE. But, on a realistic basis, the race should’ve been really close as Gordon is an A0 (A1 with some prototype modifications).

So that was awesome. It's stuff like this that make me wish we had a proper Thomas open world racing game. Explore Sodor in a story mode and race on various tracks with a massive roster of characters. You know people would buy it if it was done right and it's so strange that it hasn't been done yet. All we have are awful microtransaction filled mobile games. Someone needs to step up and make the Thomas game people actually want.
