Wow, The Chinese infrastructure/roadways looks like it has come a long way! Were he alive, An Jeun geun may have been depressed about the divided Koreas and the war that raged in the 50's but I think he would have been impressed, maybe even a little proud about how South Korea has developed into such a modern, safe country and an economic world powerhouse and still proudly maintains it's beautiful mountainous landscape (I visited & cycled the x-country path).
