Thanks Diana for showing your most beautiful country. I also prefer hiking solo and did quite abit years ago, but the Park Services have banned that now, too many inexperienced day hikers getting lost and or were unprepared for the quickly changing weather conditions in the local berg (mountains). I got hypothermia during summer! Basically, anytime of the year one takes, a tent, and warm clothes as standard equipment. Nice to see the joy of youth, being an old fart now. Thanks again, I know about Georgia but had no idea of its terrain other than it was in a mountainous region. Take care. ❤😊

Great to see you back Diana. I thought you had been abducted or found an "off grid paradise " Your country looks amazing! So many butterflies i have hardly seen any in the UK this year! I was going to ask what the towers were for but you read my mind at the end! Take care and stay safe x 🙏❤🇬🇧

That sounds like an incredible hike! 🏔 The route from Mestia to Ushguli is definitely one for the bucket list, and it’s awesome that you finally got to experience it. The landscapes in Georgia are just stunning. Thanks for sharing your adventure - this has me seriously considering a trip to Georgia! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad

დავბრუნდი... what I like is that you have your own pace of walking up the mountain and don't speed up or slow down for anyone, that's the only way to really enjoy your experience to the fullest because you can stop (to film wherever you want for as long as you want, without the guilt of holding anyone back). Mestia and Ushguli are on my bucket List...Being a socially anxious introvert I would probably have trouble, arriving somewhere and not finding the owners and asking my way around. Great you found people you vibed with on the way

Magnificent! 😍😍If you’ll have only one place to recommend in Georgia what it would be ? Going there for 2 weeks and hesitate to do the trek or visit place like vardzia cave Kazbegi ..
@dianawanderlust4 ай бұрын
You could do both. Georgia is pretty small country, you can get around fast. In two weeks I would do Tbilisi, Kakheti, Svaneti, and then maybe Adjara (mountainous Adjara is really being like Beshumi, Zhulo etc) or Vardzia and neighboring historic attractions.
